Rue POV
I was tired of being a sitting duck. I checked Jules's location on my phone and seen the route she was taking.
"Mom I have to go." I said.
"Baby, no." She said.
"I'm not gonna be a sitting duck. Jules knows where she is."
"Let me come with you."
"No! I'm not putting you in danger again. You need to call the cops and send them to this address." I said.
I wasn't a sitting duck or anyone's deer. I was the deer that wasn't gonna run to the light. I was gonna fuck the light up.

I grabbed my keys and ran out the door and was bumped into by someone.
"Hey! What happened?" Blake asked confused and nervous.
"What the fuck are you doing here?" I asked trying to get away.
"There's people everywhere talking about a kidnapping at a wedding. I came to see about it. Are you okay?"
"Look I already told you I'm married and not into you." I said.
He stopped me.
"Wait! Is it your child that's missing?"
I said nothing.
"No fucking way! I'm here for anything. You need help?"
"No! I just need to find the fucker."
"Sorry to bother you geesh. I just wanted to help. Put the workout to use or something." He was walking away now.
"Blake!" I called. I could use him for strength.
"Think you kill two human beings?" I said.
He grinned.
"Let's go." I said.
