Jules POV

I followed the flash down the street. I left the car unlocked just in case I needed to hurry back in.

It was getting pitch black making it hard to see anything without a flashlight. I turned on my phone flashlight and began following.

As I followed the flash, my fear grew away from me. I was readier than I had ever been before. I wanted to kill the woman who fucked up my life.

The flash then went away. I stopped at then end of the road.

"Come out!" I yelled. "You're a scary bitch! And if you keep fucking with me and my family, I'll murder you myself." I said.

Nothing.

I jogged back to the car and stopped in my tracks. The door that was once open was now closed and my car was shut off. I held up my phone to see that it had died. My fucking phone died.
