Rue POV

Jules was taking forever to get here. I called mom and Gia and warned them to lock the doors and protect Jrue until Jules picked her up and brought her to me. Jules had told me not to leave work and that she would pick Jrue up on the way here.

"Wait, so that's Vanessa?" Todd was saying.

I gave him a sharp look that shut him up.

"You should have woke me up so I could beat her ass and call the cops." I snarled.

"Um. Excuse me! I don't want to be locked in a store with a sychopath. Nothing good comes out of it." Todd whines.

I roll my eyes and notice a car pulling up. Jules jumped out and and took Jrue out of the backseat.

I hurried to her.

"Jules!" I hugged her and Jrue. I kissed Jrue's face and wouldn't let her go.

"She was here?" Jules asked.

"Yeah." I nodded.

Jules slammed her fists into the counter.

"Let's go." Jules ordered.

I never seen her so angry.
