Chapter 6

Waking up from a nightmare Paisley was sweating. She looks at Danté and sees that he is sleeping peacefully.

She cautiously removes his arm that is around her. She stands up and goes to the bathroom. She gets ready to meet Terius to discuss the plan.

She walks into the room and sees that Danté is already awake. "Morning." He says. "Morning." She says and goes to the closet.

She wears jeans and a T-shirt. She grabs her small suitcase and as she is about to leave he calls her. She turns around to look at him.

He gestures her to come to him. She sits down on the bed. She looks at him and wonders why he looks like hasn't  slept in a while.

"Babe what's wrong?" She asks him. "I'm just going to miss you when you're gone." She smiles at his concern.

"I'm going to miss you too." He hugs her and says,"Please don't leave me." This was the most hurt she had seen him in years.

Not since she left him without telling him anything. She pulls away and kisses him. "I'm sorry but I'm doing this for us." She says when she broke the kiss.

He sighs and goes back to sleep. She walks out of the room and goes to the kitchen and has something to eat. "Morning Paisley." Cody says.

"Morning Cody." She replies. "You're going to meet up with Terius right?" "Yeah." She says and takes a bite out of the apple. "Morning babe." Sophia says. "Morning." Paisley and Cody say in unison.

They look at each other and Paisley says,"She was referring to me." "No. The last time I checked I am the one married to her." He tells Paisley and shows off his ring.

She sticks out her tongue. He retaliates by saying,"You're a Petty Betty."

"Takes one to know one." She says. "Can you guys stop being childish?" Sophia yells at them. They keep quiet but glare at each other playfully.

Paisley finishes her apple and stands up to leave but not before saying,"See you later babe." To Sophia. Sophia waves at her and Paisley walks out and hears Cody says,"You're my babe."

She laughs and gets in her car and drives to the mall to meet up with Terius. She parks her car and gets out.

She stands next to her when she remembered that she didn't know where to meet him. She texts him and he answers her immediately.

She reads the message and it says to meet him at the Starbucks. She heads to the Starbucks and sees him. He waves at her.

She sits down across him. "Morning." He says. "Morning. How was your night?" "It was amazing. I had the most amazing sex."

"I think I should put a filter in your mouth sometimes you are way too much." He laughs and says,"I'm sorry." "It's ok."

Then a waiter comes to take their orders before she can say anything else. When he walks away to take their drinks they talk again.

"We are here to discuss the plan." "Obviously. Now tell me." "Ok. I am going to arrive at the house after my fight with Danté."

"Ok so you're going to be the damsel in distress?" "Yes. I know that he won't be able to resist me in that state." Terius nods and their drinks arrive.

They thank the waiter. She takes a sip out of the iced coffee. Terius does the same with his latte. "Don't worry I will keep you safe no matter what."

She smiles at his supportive words. She wouldn't think to do this alone. Especially with Trenton being as obsessed as he is with her. "Ok. So that's everything sorted?"
