Chapter 11

This guy is impossible! Paisley thinks to herself as she is eating dinner. She looks over at Trenton and sees that he's looking at her.

"What are you looking at? She asks him. "At the beautiful being that is you." He answers her. She groans and stops eating. She has lost her appetite completely.

"Why can't you just let me go and I promise I won't tell my fiancée that you kidnapped me?Hmmm?" She states with a fake smile. He laughs at her comment and continues to eat.

She looks at him like a lion who is looking at a delicious gazelle and is ready to eat it. "Now what are you looking at?" He asks her looking up at her. "At the disgusting being that is you." She retorts with a smile.

This time the smile is real. She sees something in his eyes and it looks like its sadness but as quickly as it came it disappeared. "Kyle,won't you escort this lovely lady to her room." He orders one of his guards.

The guards nods and she stands up and before they walk away she says to him,"This is not over." He grins and she gags. The guard walks her to her room. He opens the door for her like a gentleman.

She mutters a thank you and he nods and closes the door,locking it. She sighs and goes and changes into her PJs. If she wasn't forced to be here, she would be happy right now.

Unfortunately she is forced to be here. In the past few weeks she gotten to know what makes Trenton tick and that's the only thing that keeps her from losing her sanity.

She climbs onto the bed and gets under the covers. She can't sleep so she decides to go the window seat and look at the sky. Her and Danté used to sit on their balcony and look at the stars guessing the type of stars.

She sighs in sadness. She has been missing Danté a lot lately. She wonders if he is eating well and sleeping at all. She knows how stubborn he can be. She thinks of Sophia and Cody.

How she has really come to like Cody. She sighs and feels her eyes start to dropped and she realises that she is tired.

She gets up and decides to go and get a blanket from the bed. She grabs it and walks over the window seat and sleeps there.

I can't eat or sleep. Paisley is all I can think about at this point in time. Dante thinks to himself. He hears a knock on the door and it opens.

It's Sophia and she has a tray in her hands. She smiles at him. She has been taking care of him since Paisley was kidnapped. "Good morning." She says happily. "If it were a good morning Paisley would be here right now." He says rather harshly to her.

He sees her smile drop and says,"I'm sorry,Soph." He calls her by the nickname Paisley had started. She smiles weakly and places the tray on the side table and turns around to leave. "Hey,Soph can you tell Cody to meet me in the office?"

She smiles and nods and leave the room. Silence once again fills the room. He sighs and looks over at tray of food. Paisley wouldn't like seeing me like this. He thinks and takes the food and starts to eat it.

He didn't realise that he was hungry until he saw the empty glass and plate in front of him. He gets up and goes to the bathroom and takes a quick shower.

He heads downstairs to the office. There he sees Cody on the phone. Cody sees him and ends the call. "S'up bro. You ate the breakfast Sophia gave to you right?" He nods and sits downs.

He puts his head in his hands and takes a deep breathe. Then suddenly like water gushing from a waterfall. Danté gets an idea. "What if we get some of our guys to spy on the Vipers?"

"That is a crazy idea. Crazy but it just might work." Danté smiles evilly and says,"Get Paulo in here. Now." Cody nods and quickly walks out of the room and brings in Paulo.

"Paulo I need our best people on this mission." Paulo nods,sits down and listens intently to every word coming out of his Boss' mouth. "I'll get right to it Boss." Paulo says,feeling proud that he was the one assigned to this mission.

Cody and Danté discuss other things while Paulo gets the best guys to go in this mission. A few hours later Paulo returns to the office and says, "Boss,I've found the perfect people for this job."

Dante nods and in walks in two women and two men all dressed on black. "You know that this mission is personal to me right?" They all nod their heads in agreement. "The women will act as maids and the men will pose as guards."

Paulo informs him. Danté nods satisfied with the group of people who are putting their lives on the line to save Paisley. He dismisses them and Cody says,"You should promote Paulo."

Yeah. He's right. Paulo has been such a big part of this team for a while now. He should be the Head of Security. Danté nods. He calls Paulo back into the office. "Paulo. You are being promoted to Head of Security." Paulo gasps and says,"Really Sir?"

Danté smiles and nods. "Thank you. Thank you, so much. You won't regret this,Boss." He says happily. "You better not screw this up." Cody says to him and he nods and does a Scout's salute.

Cody bursts out laughing. Tears start to form in his eyes and Danté can't help but laugh. He hasn't laughed since Paisley was kidnapped. It feels good but there's still an emptiness.

He smiles but it doesn't reach his eyes. If you smile and it doesn't reach your eyes then it's not a real smile. Cody finally stops smiling and looks at him. "Don't worry we will find her.When we do I'll personally rip out Trenton's throat out."

Dante nods. "I hope this plan works." Is all Danté says to Cody.
