It's okay, Draco

Days went by, Luna got along with me pretty well and so were Harry, Ron and Hermione.

It was finally for potions class, the class that I was hoping to ace. I was looking forward for potions ever since I stepped into Hogwarts.

I sat beside Harry and smiled at him. He fixed his glasses and smiled. 'Aw, that's cute' I thought.

"Ooh, someone's blushing.. " Hermione said to Harry but I heard it. Harry nudge her.

Then the door behind slam open as Snape enters,

"No foolish wand waving and foolish incantation in this class" he stand straight and look at me and Harry. He tried to look intimidating but it didn't work for me.

He started the lesson by teaching us how to brew cure for boils and I admit, I was pretty good at it.

"Time's up!" Snape stand up from his seat and began to look at each person's cauldron to look at their potions. "Fail"

He then stop at mine, "Flawless" he whispers softly that I can only hear it. He then continue to examine other's potions while me, I was minding my own business after that. I was happy at myself, I was happy at Hogwarts.

"Hey, don't touch me!" someone yelled in some corridor. I turn at different corridors to find the voice. Then I saw Draco and his friends bullying a first year like me. I hated the fact that he picks on someone weak, so I had to stepped in since he pushed the guy to the floor.

"Hey! Stop it!" I yelled out and ran to the guy on the floor. Draco was shocked seeing me there. Believe it or not, I'm not surprised that he's a bully.

When I tried to help the guy on the floor, one of his friend stepped in front of me trying to take a hold of my robe. I pulled out my wand at point it directly at the guy's neck.

"Don't." They were surprised to see me have the guts to pull out my wand. The guy then backed up slowly while I helped the victim up and went to the hospital wing.

The guy thank me after Madam Pomfrey treated him, "Thank you for saving me back there, my name's Neville Longbottom. W-what's yours? If you don't mind me asking.." I shook my head and introduced myself to him. He smiled and thanked once again.

As I left the hospital wing, someone called out, "Hey, wait up!" I roll my eyes knowing who that was.

I turned around to see his signature smirk. Ugh, he's annoying. Can't he just stay away from me?

"Nice wand you got there" he said as I stop walking. No one was really around since it was lunch time.

"So?" he seems taken aback by my response but smirks back at me.

"Follow me" I was going to refuse but he grab my hand and pull me. We were running to God knows where. But we eventually arrived at the astronomy tower.

I was huffing like crazy, "Are you serious? Why'd you have to bring me here of all places?" he laugh at me and soon turn nervous. "What?" I asked.

"You do know me when I bumped to you back at the Diagon Alley right?" oh of course he wanted to ask me that question, nothing special. Duh, what was I expecting?

"Yeah, so what?" my tone was serious making him to look at me.

"Yet you still talked back to me" he suddenly put up a smug face, " We'll be seeing each other often" I was confused.

"Ha, you wish" He roll his eyes at my response. I ignored him and went to my next class.

To think that I would get a good night sleep tonight was wrong especially after Draco being weird to me earlier. It was past curfew but then again, fuck it.

I walked silently down the corridor being wary of Filch or Mrs Norris. Then I saw him, Draco. What was he doing? Is he sleepwalking? Hmm only one way to find. I just wanted to follow him so that he doesn't make any trouble?..

I followed him to the dungeon and he eventually entered the potions classroom. I was going to enter too in case he ever breaks anything but then I heard voices.

"So how's your progress Draco?" is that Lucius's voice?  I peeked a little and saw Draco, Lucius and Snape.

"I haven't got anything father, forgive me" Draco looked down at the floor.

"You never fail to disappoint me" Lucius sighed. I thought he was going to dismissed him.

SMACK!

I hold my hand to my mouth preventing me to gasp. What the hell just happened?

"Even just one simple task you can't do it?! You're such a disappointment" Lucius raise his voice.

I think that's enough, maybe they're discussing about death eaters thing. But then again, how could he slapped his own son. Oh wait, like you couldn't understand (y/n)

I decided to went to my dormitory and just sleep.

Summer's break came and I was not happy about it. But for some reason my parents were. I got a bad feeling about this.

As I arrived at the station from Hogwarts, I found my parents were standing there.. Smiling. Like what?, they were smiling! Even though my guts tells me not to get any expectations but I can't help to be happy that they're smiling for me! Right?...

When I stepped out of the train, my parents hugged me for the freaking first time! I was shocked. Just as I was going to hug them back, they pulled away.

"Oh, (y/n), I can't wait for you to meet them" my mother said.

Oh. Of course. Time to meet another guest. But this was the first time they got really excited...

The trip to my house was silent, my mind was full of me guessing who were the people that my parents were excited for me to meet.

When I arrived at my house, I saw the Malfoy family in the main room.

"(y/n) my sweet daughter, this is my great friend, Lucius, his wife Narcissa and Draco Malfoy" I couldn't care less about the family, what I care about is why are they here?

"So this is your daughter Jacob" Lucius  said to my father.

"Ah, yes" he chuckled.

I don't know what he wants me now..
