Draco was excited when he heard rumors that the professor of defence against dark arts was going to teach us the unforgivable curses.
I sit beside Ron which he seems uncomfortable. Maybe he's uncomfortable because of the class or because of last winter.
I decide to ignore him and pay attention to the professer instead.
"Now who wants to give me an example of the unforgivable curses?" he look around the class and soon smirk at me.
"You"
"Imperio" I answer confidently.
He nod and him in response. He then brought an insect and put it on the table. He cast the curse and order it to jump on people's faces. Including me. I laugh when Draco start to panic when it lands on his face.
The professor start to get annoyed and order it to land on my face. I stop laughing and stand still, staring at the insect intently.
The professor start to get annoyed at my reaction too so he order it to land on the table after that.
"Now anyone know what is the next curse?" Hermione hold her hand up, answering the question. I have a bad feeling about this. The professor smirk - more like grin -,
"Since you answered it, why don't you cast it on the insect?" Hermione was shocked while me and the others stayed quiet. I knew the professor wouldn't take no for an answer.
She had no choice but to cast it. The insect start to screech loudly. For a few minutes, Hermione couldn't take it so she undo the curse. The professor roll his eyes and land at me once again.
My face was serious as his.
Don't you dare pick me.
"Hmm, (y/n) you're quiet throughout the class. Cast the killing curse. Now"
Everybody gasp and look at me. My face was firm. I soon stand up and look at the poor insect.
Nevertheless, my face still remain firm. The professor knew what I was feeling so he urge me to do it again.
"Avada Kedavra" I slurred out the incantation and point it to the insect. In seconds, the insect was dead. Everyone was now looking at me, trying to figure out my feelings underneath my face.
"Class dismissed!" the professor walk out of the classroom and so was some of the students. I grab my books slowly letting out my tears as I did it.
It reminds me of the past.
'Go on, (y/n), why can't you just kill him already?' my father asked me.
'H-he didn't do anything w-wrong' I replied.
'Darling she don't have to do this' my mother protested against my father.
