✿ 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮'𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐩𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 ✿

"Jacob, I heard that (y/n) here doesn't want to be involved in the death eater's business?" my father was taken aback and replied quickly,

"What, That's not true Lucius, I've never heard her say such things to me"

"Well I heard differently from Crabbe's family" he continue.

We knew that my father has no answer to that. So he had to do it to me. He had to 'teach me a lesson'. He turn me around and cast the cruciatus curse on me.

"Crucio!"

I instantly fell to the ground, yelling in pain. I yelled and yelled making me wish that I've never been born into this cruel world. It feels like I got stabbed by thousands of knives. And it was messy.

"Stop! Please stop! You're hurting her!" Draco pleaded to my father. My father look at Lucius. He nod and my father undo the curse on me.

He turn around to glare at Draco and soon glare at me next,

"Nice meeting you (y/n)" Lucius fake a smile and apparate along with his wife and Draco.

Nice meeting you too, asshole.

I breathe silently and faint after that.

Summer ended and I was happy to get back to Hogwarts. My parents didn't really talk to me after that night. They told me that I was a disappointment, if not with their words but with their eyes.

I spent weeks crying in my bedroom alone. I thought after all those years their harsh words would never get to me again. I thought after years building my wall would prevent me to feel such ways. Not only I was a disappointment, they also said that I was weak.

Just before I finish packing my clothes to my luggages, my mother knock and enter my bedroom. Which never happened, since they always left me a note every single day when they left.

"What brings you here mother?" I asked. She avoided eye contact with me and said,

"Next time, you be careful with your words. There are many people that wants to break down our family's name and reputation" she turn around after that, getting ready to leave but I stop her,

"Why are you telling me this?" I almost regret asking her that but I gather my courage again and look her in the eyes.

"(y/n) you know the answer to that. We live in a world that can never be trusted" now I was getting angry. Is that her excuse?!

"And who made it that way?" we glare at each other.

"Enough talk" she turn around to face the door until I said it,

"Is this how you treat your own child?" my voice was quiet yet she heard it. But she ignored it. She walk out of my bedroom and I stood there. Alone.

Silence. All I hear is silence except for my cries and the door downstairs slammed shut.

At Hogwarts, Luna tried to talk to me so is Harry, Hermione, Ron and other students but I ignored them. I just don't want them to ask me 'what's wrong?'

Most of my time in the day, I focused on studying and I was getting tired. I went to my dormitory hoping I would get some sleep. I could care less anyone disturbing me since it was dinner.

Just when I woke up, Luna came in and look at me. I pretended to sleep and she believed it. She organized her bed for a few minutes and went to sleep. I waited a full thirty minutes to confirm she's asleep.

After I went out of the dormitory, I felt relieved. This was my plan anyways, since I never really talked to people when I was so little due to my parents being death eaters, I was alone. So I watched the stars at the astronomy tower instead.

I smiled as I saw the stars and the moonlight.

"So now you're avoiding everyone huh?" I turn around, suprised but relaxed when I saw it was Draco.

"What are you doing here?" he came up to me,

"I'm sorry" he apologized. I knew what he meant.

"It's not your fault Draco, I deserved it..."
I said as I continue to look at the stars.

"Actually, I don't think you do (y/n)..." I didn't realize we were so close until I turn around to look at him. He smile and start to close his eyes and pull me into a kiss.

I widen my eyes, startled. Most of all, this was my first kiss. He pulled away quickly,

"I'm sorry"

"What, what did I do? Did I taste bad? Do I smell bad?" I start to panic which I didn't expect I would do.

The nervous Draco start to smirk slowly when he saw my reaction.

"What?" I asked again, blush forming on my cheeks.

He shake his head and pull me into another kiss. This time, I don't know what I was going to do. I've always knew I'd follow my guts.

Well, right now my guts tells me to kiss him back and I did.
