-------Evening: Leblanc's Attic------

Though some time had passed ever since he decided to call it a night and head to his bed, sleep still seemed far away from him for a reason or another. His mind was wandering off to somewhere else entirely, recalling the events that occurred that day only a couple of hours ago... the encounter with Kaneshiro in the nightclub, his threat to them, and Makoto's awakening. She had demonstrated some crazy powers with her newly-born Persona, Johanna, and proved to be quite useful to them during battles although she had just joined them, much to the group's luck. From an enemy to an ally, huh... things sure were going fast and a lot of unrealistic events occurred that day that Ren felt he could barely keep up with everything that has been going on for the last few months ever since he had arrived in Tokyo.

Although, leaving Makoto aside... the smallest smile ever was planted on Ren's lips when his memory settled on his heart-to-heart conversation with Emiko. He felt his heart dance in joy when he recalled her words about willing to change herself and stop pretending she was someone else which was the exact opposite of how she was when he first met her back in April. Her face showed nothing but hostility and aggressiveness, though he witnessed the hidden sadness in her features when Mayu Shinohara apologized to her for leaking her secret about shooting her father after Kamoshida's confession. He recalled the first time she ever smiled after three years after finally deciding to share her story during Yusuke's welcoming party, a smile so gentle and sweet that caused so many emotions to swirl inside of his chest.

It was since then that Emiko slowly began to show a little bit more kindness and consideration to others and open up bit by bit to them. Although her words remained harsh, she had an undoubtedly kind heart despite everything she went through in her life from her late father Isao. Which sadly reminded him of that scar... the scar that rested on her forehead and was hidden beneath her brown bangs, given to her by her father as a memento of the sufferance she lived in. It was sad and heartbreaking to remember, yet she still managed to smile through it all... even for a brief moment but nevertheless, he was glad about the progress she was making.

More importantly, his mind reminded him of the moment he took her hands into his earlier that day and how they fit into them so perfectly. The way her face and eyes glimmered under the sunlight, giving him a dazzling radiance, the way her deep brown irises met his dark grey ones, the soft expression on her face--it was all so innocent, so pure, so warm, so welcoming...

So--

"A motorcycle-shaped Persona, huh..." Morgana trailed with a mysterious smile, "You know, I can turn into a car too, so it's like... I feel a sense of familiarity?"

"Maybe you're a Persona?" Ren wondered.

"Uh, no. I'm supposed to be human!"

"If you say so..."
