Esme got tired of strolling from right to left. She also noticed how everything was floating inside this time bubble. In fact, all the elements surrounding her was in a constant buoyancy around the apple tree.

》What's going on with that tree? Is it the tree of Eden?

Esme took the leap and sat on the floating bench in the middle of the garden. There wasn't anything to do about it anyway. The walls were impenetrable from both side. Only the one who had started it, could eventually end it and Esme had no idea of the identity of that person.

She had had enough of constantly making up for the fault of others. She was the youngest of them all, yet she was always summoned to correct their errors.

At the beginning, she would find it cool because they were trusting her with big responsibilities. But as time passed by, it started to feel as if they were all taking advantage of her free care. She was fed up of everyone around her and needed an escape from all her responsibilities.

She was at a point of rupture in her life of princess of the realm. There's wasn't anything pleasant happening in her life. She was still so young, yet her daily life was constantly baffled by her duties towards the crown.

Esme pulled herself into the fetal position and started to sulk: alone inside this time cell.

Nothing really came to her mind on how to get out nor was she making any effort at all to find a solution to get away. All she wanted was to be left alone without anybody to tell her what to do or asking a favor from her.

It was great to be left all alone for once. There were no responsibilities or any duties to fulfill.

It is stupid how the only day off I get is when I'm locked up in that stupid prison. They should all be here by now but I can't sense anyone around the garden. Did they all forget about me? Ha. At least they aren't asking for favors. Girl, you need holidays! Too bad we are at night or else I could have tan in this very-effing-great bubble.

She sighed then started to mumble a sweet lullaby, the same lullaby that her late mom used to whistle her to sleep whenever she was in a period of stress.

It was tiring for the assassin living inside her to be put to the service of others. She was more qualified than anyone in the realm. Yet, they were all taking advantage of her willingness to help.

Deep inside she knew that she had to be here for the members of her family because she had something special. Yes, apart from the fact that she was the most qualified, she was also the most intelligent amongst them all.

Her abilities and intelligence far overshadowed anyone else in the underworld. She was a fine strategist and a real queen of ashes but even the best needs comfort at times.

This time, her legendary composure was being put to a very harsh test and she was about to fall into a vicious cycle. She sat there, sulking and needing comfort. Alone in an invisible prison.

She was just a little girl, without the acknowledgement and gratitude of her family who was taking advantage of her. She was in need of comfort but nobody was there for her when she needed it the most.

☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆On the 4th floor of the castle, Livia time bound punishment was about to come to its ends. She felt all her muscles coming back to life. This painful paralysis imposed by Esme really took the better of her.

Suddenly, she found herself on the floor. Completely smashed like potato on the ground, there was nobody here to help her get up. She was in a pitiful state. She cried out to her servants but no response came from her call of duty.
