"okay, just go inside" I think to myself as I stare at the door of the classroom. I slowly push down the handle of the door and pull it towards me.
When I walk inside the entire class stares at me.

"Hi you must be Millie" the woman behind the desk says kindly. "Y-yes, I'm new here. I'm sorry I couldn't find the classroom, that's why I'm so late" I stutter.
"No worries hunny, just sit down next to Miss. Sink please" she says as she points at the red haired girl seated in the back of the class.

I walk through the small aisle of tables and chairs and sit down next to the girl.
"Hi, I'm Sadie" the red haired girl says as she hold out a hand for me to shake. "Millie" I say as I shake her hand.

"So, where are you from?" Sadie asks. "California" I say softly because I didn't want the teacher to hear.
"Cool, so anyway what brings you to Hawkins?" she asks curious.
"My dad's work" I tell her.

"What do you have next period?" she asks. I look at my schedule. "English, you?" I ask, looking at her. "Me too!" She says as she claps her hands exited.

"Miss Sink would you keep it down please?" the teacher asks as she schools Sadie a glare.
"Yes ma'am, my apologies" she says a little bit sarcastic but not loud enough for her to hear. She looks at me and laughs, and after a few moments I join her.

                                  _

"So right here are the toilets, and over there is the cafeteria" she says as she finishes up the mini tour she gave me though the school.

We walk over to the gigantic hall what appears to be the cafeteria and take a seat at one of the tables. "So over there you can buy sandwiches" she says as the points behind her. "And right there are the vending machines" she says while she points at the vending machines with a small crowd of boys surrounding it.

The guys were kicking and pushing against it. I stared at them with a confused expression until Sadie interrupted my thoughts.
"You see the brown haired one? That's my brother, Noah. He's a total idiot and irresponsible - not that I'm the most responsible for that matter - but he's just hopeless" she says as she sighs at the last word.

"How old is he? He looks our age" I ask her. "Seventeen, just like me" she says and I just stare at her.
"We're twins" she says as she notices my confusion. "I always wanted a twin when I was younger" I say with a small smile on my lips.

"Do you have any siblings?" she ask me, then takes a bite from her bread.
"Yes I do, I have an eleven year old sister, Sophie" I tell her. "Is she nice?" she asks.
"Well, I mean she's my sister so I love her but she can be annoying sometimes. Oh and she can be very cheeky" I say.

"So what about your mom?" she asks. When I hear the question I choke on my food a little bit. "What about my mom?" I ask. "You know, what does your mom do for work?" She asks casually.

For a brief moment I stare at her but then brush my thoughts off.
"O-oh she works at a bank" I lie.
"Oh sounds co-" before she can finish her sentence we hear a loud bang and look up.

There was a boy laying on the ground with a tall guy hovering over him. "Watch the fuck out where you're going asshole" the tall guy yells. When he realizes everyone was look at him he speaks up. "Shows over" he says.

His eyes scan the cafeteria until his eyes lock with mine. Before I know it I snap my head the other way. "Who's that?" I ask  Sadie. "Finn Wolfhard" she says as she stares at him with an annoyed expression.

"You don't like him?" I ask her when I see her expression.
"He used to be friend's with my brother, you can't trust him" she says before she takes a sip of her water. "Why not?" I ask confused.
"It's just- he's just complicated" she says empathizing the word he.

                                  _

I said my goodbyes to Sadie and headed to my next class. When I opened the door all the students where seated, because I - again - couldn't find the classroom.

"Why are you late may I ask?" the male teacher said sternly. His tone made me jump a bit. "I just- I-I couldn't f-find the-" I stutter but the teacher already cut me off.
"Miss would you just sit down next to Mr. Wolfhard" he says pointing at a guy in the back. When I looked up to see who it was my eyes locked with familiar ones.
