"Can I take you out on a date?" Noah says as we walk through the halls. It's two weeks after everything happened with Finn. We still have to work on the project, but whenever we meet up to work on we just sit there in absolute silence. I admit it was awkward but speaking would be worse.

I look at Noah with a smile. "Yes I would love that" I say honestly. In these past few weeks I grew closer to Noah and we became good friends. I didn't tell him anything about Finn, not that I was hiding anything, I just didn't think it was necessary.

I didn't mean anything to Finn. I was nothing but a joke to him. I said Finn didn't speak to me, but sometimes he still had some rude comments to make about the way I dress. I don't understand him. How can someone be so rude and uncaring?

I shake my thoughts about Finn away and make my way to history class and sit next to Noah.

"Come in" Finn says but I already walk inside. I wanted to rush working on the project so I could get ready to go on my date with Noah. I put my phone on the small couch table and got my stuff out of my backpack.

I was quietly drawing on my paper until a loud "pling" came from my phone. I reached out to grab it but Finn was faster.
"Hey!" I yell as I get up trying to get my phone back. Finn gets up too and stretches him arm so I couldn't reach it. I desperately jump trying to grab it but he was too tall. Finn smirks down at me and probably makes fun of me in his head.

Finn turns on my phone and says: "let's see who's texting you shall we?"
When he reads it his face falls. "Why is Noah excited for later?" He asks as he lowers his hand. I see this as an opportunity to take my phone back and snatch it out of his hand.

"Because we're going on a date" I say casually as I pack my things and put my backpack on my back. He looks at me in confusion. "Why are you going on a date?" He asks, making me feel a little angry. It's not like it's his business. "Because he asked me and I said yes" I say through gritted teeth.

"So you're dating him now?" He says rudely. Like he would care I think to myself. "Well no not officially, we're just seeing each other" I annoyed. He just stares at me with an expression I can't explain.

"What? Are you going to make another insult about my clothes? Or that I'm easy?" I say a bit harder. His face falls even more. "Listen Millie, I'm really sorry about that-" he begins but I cut him off. "No, you're not! You're just an idiot that doesn't care about anyone or anything except himself!" I yell harshly without regret.

Why is he acting like he cares all the sudden? I storm over to the door, but Finn's voice stops me. "Where are you going?" Finn asks. I turn around to look at him. "Home, to get ready to go to Dairy Queen and have a nice date!" I yell and then slam the door shut.

I walk into the restaurant and immediately spot Noah sitting at a table. I walk over to him and sit across from him.

"Hi" I say shyly. He smiles sweetly at me. "Hey, you look beautiful to begin with" he compliments me. I blush at his loving words. "Thank you" I say softly. "Did you order yet or?" I ask. "No I didn't know what you wanted so I decided to wait" he says with as small smile. At that exact moment a waitress comes to our table.

"So what would you two like to drink?" She asks with a pretty smile. "Cola please" Noah asks. "And for me a water" I say smiling kindly at the woman. She writes both of our orders down.

"Have you decided what you wanted to eat yet?" She asks. "Uhhh, let me get a cheeseburger please" Noah says. "And for me the vegetarian salad" I say kindly. "Okay, thank you" the waitress says as she finishes writing our orders down.

"So where did you grow up?" I ask Noah. "Right here in Hawkins actually.." he says but my attention is drawn to the door when a all too familiar face walks in.
