"Ringgg ringgg" my phone rang. I looked down at it and Sadie's name popped up on the screen. I just got home. I picked up and sat on my bed. "Hi" I say sweetly.

"Hey have you done the history homework yet I don't get it" she sighs through the phone. I laugh a little bit at the way she said it but quickly thought of an answer. "Yes, I already did it but I really have to leave" I tell her.

"Oh where are you going?" She asks casually. "Finn's" I respond. For a moment there was silence on the other line. "Hello? Savannah are you still there?" I ask though the phone, waiting for an answer.

"You're going over to "Finn's?!!" She yells so loud that I almost dropped my phone. "Jesus Christ would you keep it down? My phone almost chattered because of you!" I say in a sarcastic angry tone. "I'm sorry, but why are you going over to Finn's?" She whisper yells.

"We have to do this stupid project together- you know what? He's just stupid! The project is really absorbing!" I say. I can hear Sadie laugh through my phone. "Millie Bobby Brown, the diss of the year!" She says laughing even harder. "Oh shut up!" I say laughing a little bit too.

"So anyways, what are you wearing?" She asks me. I look at myself in the mirror. I wasn't really wearing any makeup, just mascara and chapstick. For my clothes I was wearing a white pleated skirt that stopped mid-thigh and a black oversized sweater to hide my body. I never liked my body, it always has been and will be my biggest insecurity.

I put my thoughts aside and answered Sadie's question. "A white skirt with a black sweatshirt" I answer casually. "Cute, anyways I don't want to hold you up anymore so have fun on your date!" She says laughing. "Hey it's not a date!" I pout. "Fine, fine" she says, her laughter dying down. "Just be save and don't do anything crazy" she say in a serious tone.
"Will do, bye!" I say as I hung up.

"Come in" Finn says with the same bored and uninterested expression as always. I walk past him, into his apartment. It wasn't very big put it would be big enough for big two people to live in. I walk to the living room, take a seat on his couch and a get out the stuff that I needed.

"Do you live alone?" I ask as my eyes scan the room. He stared at me with his arms crossed. "Yes" he answers shortly and uninterested. "Is it nice to live alone?" I ask. "Can you stop asking questions?" He says rudely. I shut up and start to draw some cartoons on the papers I brought with me.

For a few minutes we sat there in silence. Absolute silence. Why was he so rude and cold all the time? I know not all people are equally as happy but it's like he has s cloud hanging above his head.

"Why are you so rude all the time?" I ask softly because I didn't want to anger him. He looks up from his papers and stares at me. "Excuse me?" He says. "Why are you so angry all the time? You pushed a boy on the ground the first day, you don't want any one to talk to you, what are you so mad about?" I ask him.

He sighs and stands up. "If I offer you a glass of water will you shut up?" He says annoyed. I get up too and stand in front of him. I was a little intimidated by his height because he was way taller than me. "No, I want an answer" I say, answering his question. He clenches his jaw and stares down at me.

"My life is none of you business" he says loudly. "I didn't ask for your entire history I just want to know why you are so rude to everyone!" I say, getting angrier with each word. "It. Is. None. Of. Your. Business." He say angry. "You have no right to just be rude to everyone and make everyone feel bad! You're just a selfish idiot!" I yell not knowing what I'm saying until the words leave my mouth.

I looked like something inside him snapped and he took a deep breath. "It's time for you to leave Millie" he says in a stern voice, taking a step back. I take a step towards his direction and speak up. "I'm not leaving here until I get an answer" I say trying to sound strict but failing a bit because of the fact that I was really intimidated by his tall frame.

"Millie, leave" he says louder. "No!" I protest. "You're perfect family is probably worried where you are right now, leave!" He yells. "I don't have a perfect family!" I yell back. "Your daddy not buying your new shoes doesn't make your family less perfect" he says to me like I'm some spoiled brat.

"How dare you! You don't know anything about my family!" I yell at him. "Millie it's time to leave" he says calming down a bit, unlike me, I was still boiling from anger. "I want an answer!" I yell. "Millie, your mommy is probably waiting at home, leave" he says pointing at the door.

"My mom isn't waiting at home" I yell as tears form inside my eyes. "Oh and why not?" He asks sarcastically. "Because she's dead!" I yell as tears stream down my eyes.

He just stared at me, not knowing what to do or say. I wiped my tears anyway and grabbed my bag. "I hate you" I say before I slam the door of his apartment shut.
