"Hey" Sadie says as she takes a seat next to me in biology. "Morning" I say emotionless. "What's wrong?" She asks worried when she sees my sad and tired expression. "Nothing, it's just-" I begin but I already stop trying. Sadie just wants to know what happened, no need to lie.

Sadie looks at me confused since I suddenly stopped talking. "Didn't you go in that date with Noah yesterday? Did something happen?" She asks, worried that her brother might've hurt me. "No, well yes something did happen but your brother didn't do anything wrong" I explain.

"It was my fault actually" I tell her. She looks at me, signaling for me to go on. I sigh. "Finn showed up at our date and told Noah that we kissed" I say, feeling sad as the memory flies through my head. She looks at me with wide eyes. "Why the hell was Finn there?!" She whisper yells.

I sigh once again. "Before the date I was at his apartment for the project and we got into this stupid argument and I accidentally told him where I was going" I explain. "He probably went there just to piss me off and ruin my date" I let out. "God he's such an asshole" Sadie says, rolling her eyes. "Are you and Noah okay?" She asks a little worried.

"I don't know, he seemed very upset at that moment - which I can understand - but he did say he would see me today so I really don't know" I explain, confused myself. "I do have history today so I can talk to him" I say. "I hope you two work it out" Sadie says. "Yeah, me too" I say

"Hi" I say nervously as I take a seat next to Noah. "Hey" he says, drawing his attention to me. "I'm sorry" we say both at the same time. We both laugh a little. "You have nothing to be sorry about, it was my fault" I say looking Noah in the eyes. He smile sweetly at me as he takes both of my hands. "It wasn't your fault, it was Finn's , but it's all good now" he says sweetly.

"Friends?" Noah asks, holding out a hand for me to shake with a goofy smile painted on his face. I laugh a little at his action, but still shake his hand. "Friends" I say, shaking his hand.

"Can I ask you something?" I ask Noah. "Yeah, of course" he responds. "What do you and Finn know each other from?" I ask curiously, remembering Sadie telling me that they were friends. "We used to be friends" Noah says simply.

"Why aren't you two friends anymore?" I ask. Noah sighs but then opens his mouth. "Once we got older he got way more complicated. He started drinking and getting tattoo's, basically doing everything he wasn't supposed to do. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't all his fault. His parents got divorced, that totally changed him" Noah explains.

"I used to think he just needed some love, but now he's just a monster that gets satisfaction out of making people feel miserable" he says scoffing a bit. "I would stay away from him if I were you, I don't want him to hurt you" he says, looking at me. I give him a small smile. "Will do" I say, ending our conversation and focusing on the teacher.

I sit next to Finn and say nothing. "Millie, I'm sorry" he says, barely above a whisper. "No you're not" I say looking forward, avoiding his gaze. "I am" Millie says. "No, you're not. You like making people feel horrible, you're nothing but a selfish piece of trash!" I yell, but not loud enough for classmates to hear.

I was shocked by my words to say the least. I looked at Finn's face and he looked just as shocked as I was. But before he could say anything I already looked back at the teacher who was explaining something.

"Hey, come in" Finn says. I walk past him and sit on his couch. I studied his apartment. Right in front of me was a tv, it was pretty big compared to his small apartment. I wonder why I never noticed it before. Probably because I was either too busy yelling at Finn or too lost in my thoughts of him.

Today I showed up at his apartment later than usual. I didn't really have a special reason to, I just debated whether I should go or not. Eventually I got over myself and went anyways. It was really rainy outside, which I usually really liked, but now my hair was slightly wet which made it look dirty. Not that Finn would notice it but still.

"Millie, can I talk to you?" Finn asks, sitting in his usual seat. I look at him confused for a moment but then nod my head. "I really am sorry you know" he says. I open my mouth to say something but Finn already cuts me off. "Please don't start yelling. I just want you to know that I am sorry for doing what I did and I hope that we can just be friends" he says honestly.

I stared at him with a shocked expression. I thought he was joking at first but he looked so....honest? Strange isn't it? The person who I though lived for lies looked honest. "O-oh" I stutter. "Okay" I say with a small smile. "Wait really?" He asks, coping my shocked expression from earlier. "Yeah, why not" I say with a smile.

"Have you eaten yet? You came here later than usual" he says, surprising me a little that he even noticed. "N-no, but that's okay" I assure him. He looks at me with raised eyebrows. "I can order a pizza if you want" he offers. "No, it's fine- I'm fine" I say with a kind smile painted on my lips. "Are you sure? I mean who doesn't like pizza?" He says with a smile.

I've never seen him smile before, it looked beautiful- he looked beautiful. He had that type of smile that would make you melt or that would comfort you when you feel lost. "Fine, but you have to eat it with me. I can't eat one entire pizza by myself" I laugh. He smile at me. "Got it, sweets" he responds.
