Error couldn't help but be slightly disappointed that that drawing boy from before didn't return but God did she love the tree she'd found. The branches were perfect for climbing, there was almost never anyone around and she had an amazing view of the park and suburban city surrounding it. The sun was beginning to set by the time she saw Killer poking around the park, hiding her face, well... mask, under her hoodie. She leapt down from the tree and snuck around the park grass to catch Killer by surprise. Killer turned around.
"Ah, there you are," she said, walking towards Error.
"Aww man you're impossible to surprise," Error pouted. Killer shrugged.
"I take extra care not to be surprised," she said. "Nightmare wants you back. We just ran out of food for Reaper so we're gonna be especially vulnerable for the next three days or so." Error frowned.
"What's that got to do with me?" She asked.
"We need you to be lookout," Killer answered as if it were obvious. Error groaned.
"Fine, I'm coming." Killer began walking away, expecting her to follow, muttering.
"It's not like you had a choice."
Geno turned around as he heard a knock from the front door. Putting down his cooking dinner he walked to the front door and opened it. Lust stood outside. He smiled and waved a bit awkwardly.
"Hey Geno," Lust said. "Can I come in?" Geno nodded.
"Uh, yeah, come in." Geno blinked and stood out of the way to let him in. "So why are you here?" Geno asked as he and Lust sat at his table.
"You remember that favour you owe me?" Lust asked. Geno nodded.
"Yeah? What about it?"
"I need to cash it in." Geno put up a gesture to wait and walked into the kitchen. Turning off his stove, he sighed.
"What do you need?" He asked, walking back into the dining room. Lust sighed.
"I need you to look after a few friends for me." Geno raised an eyebrow.
"Friends?" He asked suspiciously. "They aren't prostitutes are they?" Lust chuckled.
"No, they aren't." Lust sighed. He could never be as confident as he usually was around Geno. "They have a friend who's fallen into a coma. They asked me for help and I suggested you because... well you probably know why." Geno nodded.
"Yeah, I get it." He sighed. "My house is one-storied and has four bedrooms. Is that gonna accommodate all of them?" He asked. Lust mentally counted in his head.
"If they crash on the couch too, yeah." Geno considered for a few moments. Lust began to get anxious at his silence and almost suggested he forget about it when Geno nodded.
"I'll help." Lust smiled.
"Thanks Gen. I'll let them know."
Dust jumped up in excitement as her phone let off a little ding.
"Guys! Guys!" She shouted. "Lust got back to me!" Nightmare and Killer peeked out of their measly kitchen and Horror practically ran down the stairs. Error was somewhere outside, acting as lookout and didn't hear her despite her noise.
"What does he say?" Nightmare asked apprehensively. Dust was practically jumping up and down in excitement.
"His friend said yes! We can move in whenever we feel like as long as he's not at work!" Nightmare let out a sigh of relief, Killer moved back into the kitchen to finish their dinner and Horror almost cheered.
"Who's gonna let Error know?" Horror asked. Nightmare shrugged.
"I'll go. You go back to Reaper. Are you alright cooking by yourself Killer?" She asked.
"I'll be fine," Killer answered. "I'm almost done anyway." Dust sniffed the air.
"Do I smell butter chicken?" She asked.
"Yes."
"Yay!" Nightmare walked outside and looked around.
"Error?" She called. "Error? We have news." Error dropped down from a hidden nook in the roof and raised an eyebrow.
"What happened?" She asked. Nightmare, not phased at all, turned to her.
"Our contact got us a place to look after Reaper. We can move there as soon as is convenient." Error smiled.
"Oh good, does this mean I can go off by myself again?" She asked. Nightmare went Frisk-faced.
"No. You'll be coming with us." Error groaned.
"Fine, but you owe me new string." She parcored her way up to her hiding spot and Nightmare sighed.
"As if you ever need new string," she muttered, exasperated.
Blue was sitting on his desk looking through his work when Dream came in.
"Hey," he said.
"Hey," Blue replied. Dream sat down on the bed next to him and watched him for a bit before speaking again.
"You ok with not being on the case?" He asked. Blue smiled.
"I'm alright. I trust Miss Undyne's judgement," he answered. Dream smiled and nodded.
"You can come to me if you need to rant, you know that right?" Blue chuckled.
"Ah yes, our very own therapist." Dream smiled.
"I'm not a real therapist." Blue stuck out his tongue.
"You should be." Dream rolled his eyes.
"Whatever I'm going." Suddenly Blue grabbed his arm.
"Noooo! Dream-Sensei I need advice!" He cried. Dream, surprised, frowned and sat back down.
"Advice?" He asked. Blue nodded.
"You saw that stuff about the girl right?" He asked. Dream nodded. "This stays between us right?" Dream nodded, beginning to get worried. "Well..." Blue hesitated. "I keep... thinking about her and I don't know what to do about it." Dream's mouth dropped open.
"You have a crush on her?" He asked in surprise.
"No! No! Not a crush I just..." he trailed off. "Oh maybe I do..."
"Well what do you wanna do about it?" Dream asked. Blue shrugged.
"I don't know but it's been kinda... distracting and I don't really know her well." Dream patted him on the back.
"Maybe you should take some time to figure out your feelings and get to know her. There's no harm in a little crush. Just don't worry so much." Blue nodded. Dream stood up again and Blue held him up, saying.
"Oh, are you cleaning up? I think Ink's asleep." Dream nodded.
"Yeah I got that covered. Night Blue."
"Night Dream."
