Dust skipped over to the front door as the girls heard a knock.
"Make sure its actually Lust Dust!" Nightmare ordered from the living room. Dust ignored her and opened up the door without looking. Luckily, it was Lust.
"Lust!" She yelled, giving him a jump hug.
"You forgot the formal thing again," He reminded her, hugging her back. Dust shrugged.
"It's boring now." She took his hand and dragged him into the living room. Error and Killer were hiding in Error's room and only Horror and Nightmare were still sitting in the living room.
"Good afternoon," Lust greeted as he walked in. Nightmare waved.
"You're lucky it was Lust," She said, directing a warning glare at Dust. "If it wasn't there'd be consequences." Dust suddenly looked worried.
"No cake?" She asked. Nightmare nodded.
"No cake." Dust let out a cry of pure dramatic tragedy and fell to her knees.
"You're too cruel. There's nothing better than cake." Lust, trying to hold back a smile, knelt beside her.
"You can't risk it Dust. I'm afraid you'll have to check before letting me in from now on," he said solemnly. Dust shook her head.
"It's too much! Friends are supposed to open doors for friends without suspicious checking!" She cried. Lust rubbed her back with one hand.
"But think about it Dust... no cake." Dust sniffed and wiped away a few melodramatic tears.
"I'm sorry Lust you're right." She sat up with a steely face of determination. "I will have to endure it." Lust finally let his smile go and looked up just in time to see that Horror was smiling too. She caught his gaze and immediately tried to drop it but Lust only smirked and mouthed.
"Caught you." She sneered at him and turned away. Nightmare rolled her eyes at Dust's display.
"I'm going to check on Reaper," she said. "Lust can keep you two company." She left the living room, leaving Dust to suddenly stand up like nothing had happened and drag Lust onto a couch and Horror to sit in an armchair. Dust began talking and it didn't take long before Lust found what she was saying very interesting.
"Then after we met you Horror dragged me back home and I saw that boy again. It was just on impulse. I promise Horror it was on impulse! But I told him my name so now we know each other's names and I can't wait to meet him again because he's so cute and nice and I really really wanna be his friend! But Horror got all mad when we got home and Nightmare yelled at me."
"Oh? What's his name?" Lust asked. Dust grinned.
"Blue! It suits him too he's all blue. I wonder if he likes blueberries..." Lust shook his head, frowning.
"Wait, Blue Swap? The cop?" He asked. Dust shrugged.
"I dunno his last name," she answered.
"He wore a cop uniform," Horror interjected. "It's why I got so mad." Lust nodded.
"That's probably an acquaintance of mine then. He lives with Dream and Ink," he said. Dust perked up.
"Oh, where?" She asked eagerly. Horror shot Lust a warning glance. Lust shook his head.
"Don't know, sorry." Dust huffed.
"Unfair," she whined. Lust shrugged.
"That's just how it is. Sorry Dust." Dust stood up and put on an air of indifference.
"Well I'm going to go..." she trailed off as she fumbled for words to excuse herself.
"For a jog?" Horror offered. Dust nodded enthusiastically.
"Yeah! Exercise! Bye Lust! Bye Horror!" She ran towards the door, apparently starting her exercise prematurely, and let it slam behind her with a bang.
"Maybe I shouldn't have told her to go outside," Horror mumbled. Lust chuckled.
"So... left with the mystery girl am I?" He asked, raising an eyebrow slyly. She let out a wolfish growl.
"Don't even try to touch me slut." Lust put on a mockingly pained expression and a hand to his heart.
"Oh my feelings. So hurtful. So..." he smirked. "Original." He stood up and walked towards her, setting a slow casual pace. "Why all the protective energy? Are you so eager to suit your name?" He asked. Horror stood up to stand directly in front of him.
"Listen I didn't ask to be stuck in here with Dust's whore friend so do us both a favour and zip it," she snapped.
"Someone's got anger issues."
"Can it. I'm not the one who parades around in a crop top and leggings like he's ready for sex at any moment."
"I am ready for sex at any moment. It's my most defining trait."
"Why can't you just leave me alone?" Horror asked, exasperated. "I'm not interested in being your side chick for the weekend." Lust titled his head and smiled.
"Well that's just pessimistic thinking," he replied. "I don't want to have sex with you, as nice as that would be, I want to discover all your secrets." He tapped her half mask with the tip of his finger. "Like what's under there." Horror took a few steps backwards.
"Don't touch that," she snarled.
"Are you all so touchy about your masks?" Lust asked. "I mean, I must admit I haven't tried to touch Dust's mask but I can't imagine it's that important."
"It's not to her," Horror replied. "To me it is."
"And why's that?" Horror pursed her lips and clenched her fists.
"None of your business." She tried to turn and walk away but Lust caught her arm and trapped her against a wall. Horror glared at him. "You don't know what you're doing," she growled quietly at him. Lust smiled and leant so close his lips almost brushed her's.
"I do know some things about you you know," he whispered. "If you're referring to your habit of eating your victims, I already know." Horror stiffened. Lust chuckled softly. "You know Dust can't keep a secret from a friend." Horror let a breath out through her nose that tickled Lust's face. His smile only widened. "So what's it like?"
"What's what like?" Horror asked, biding for time.
"Eating people," he replied, amusement colouring his words. "Does human flesh really taste like chicken?"
"No, stop messing around. I know you don't really care about all that, it's in your tone." Lust's smile dropped and he pushed himself off the wall and away from her, stretching.
"Well you're right but it's like buying a girl a drink before you start having sex. You go through the tedious, less interesting stuff before you get to the really interesting stuff. It's supposed to make you girls feel like we actually care." Horror snorted in disgust and turned on her heel to walk away again. "You know I'm not gonna let this go. You can tell me and I'll leave you alone or you can refuse and I'll follow you around until I get what I want."
"And then you'll throw me away?" Horror inquired, turning back to look at him with a raised eyebrow. Lust smirked.
"That's how it goes sweetheart." Horror shook her head.
"Then you'll be following me around for the rest of your life," She promised. Lust moved closer to her.
"Is that a challenge I hear?" He asked. Horror took another two steps towards him.
"You bet. Don't give up too easy slut. Salty losers never made a good game."
Oh boi here I am Horrorlusting
Lusty boi thirsty and we all know it
I very much like this Lust. I think I'm gonna keep him
