Days later

Driving home from my exhausting day at school, I stopped at Checkers to get a spicy chicken sandwich and a sweet tea before making my way home.

Walking into the house I noticed Killa sitting on the couch watching TV, I smiled a little before making my way to him.

"Hey." I greeted him before sitting down to eat my food.

"Lemme get a bite?" He asked, his eyes were low sensing that he was high, this nigga always high. I mugged him.

"If you don't go get your own sandwich," I told him before taking a bite of it in his face, teasing him.

"It's like that ma?" I blushed when he called me ma. "No, it's not here." I told him before passing the sandwich over to him.

"Oh okay." He said in between chews.

"Killa, it's been about 3 months since I've been here, I was wondering..." I said as I trailed off as I looked at the floor, nervousness taking over.

Still smacking he looked up at me before questioning. "Wondering what?"

"Um... Do you see yourself um...ever getting into a .... relationship?" I blurted out and just stared at him waiting for an answer.

He ran his hand over his face. "I mean not really, I don't like being held down or feeling held down and I wouldn't want to hurt anyone if I do get into a relationship." My heart felt like it had stopped for a second.

"Oh....okay." I told him, taking a deep breath before getting up to go to my room.

"Where you going?" He asked.

"To lay down I don't feel too good." I lied. I was actually going upstairs to go text the group chat.

Once I made my way to my room. I laid down across my bed, unlocking my phone before texting the group.

Me: Y'all so I finally asked Killa
if he sees himself getting into a
relationship, he said not really,
I don't really know how to feel
because I really like him.💔

Treasure💞: It's okay boo you just have to give him time. He probably does like you
but doesn't want to hurt you or tell
you. I mean you see his lifestyle I
don't think he wants to drag you into
that because we all know it's
dangerous as hell.

Eden💕: Treasure has a point,
you should probably look into
different people and don't just
limit your options to just Killa
since he said he's not ready just
move on until he is. 🤷🏻‍♀️
