"I am not a product of my circumstances. I am a product of my decisions." -Stephen Covey

Eden and I were chilling in the only clean part of my house. My room, every time I tried to clean the house it just gets back filthy because of my mother and her nasty ways. My dad got lucky he got the easy way out away from her. I wasn't allowed back at Eden's house after we got suspended, so now I just have to deal with this hell hold.

"We should get a job" Eden said out the blue, I just looked at her and thought about it.

"That doesn't sound to bad but where?" She looked at me and shrugged.

"I don't know but I'm so tired of my parents, like I know I shouldn't be complaining but its like they want me to be this perfect little preppy girl that goes to Harvard and marry a rich doctor and that's not what I want" She sighed before laying back down on the bed.

"Want do you want then Eden?" I asked as I ran my hand down my hair, which caused a track to fall out.

"I wanna run the streets with my drug dealer man sis." She said and I almost choked as I sat up looking at her, making sure I heard her clearly.

"Girl what?" I laughed.

"I want a thug girl" I just shook my head.

"You a mess, you know that?" She just laughed, but I was so serious.

"But for real like if we get a job what we gon do?"

"Well we could find a job after we save a good amount me and you could dip on our parents. I mean I know my parents have money and all but I don't want they shit" She scoffed, flicking her hand in the air.

"Any job ideas?" I asked her.

"McDonald's?" She answered. I looked at her like she was crazy.

"Girl we'll be saving for 2 years and the check only gon be $250 when we done" I joked, but I was so serious. mcdonald's barely paid their workers.

"You right what about stripping?" She said the last part low and I almost fell off the bed.

"Strip who?" I asked her as I blinked at her rapidly.

"Stripping it won't be that bad" She stated to me.

"Girl I refuse. This ain't no movie this real life you know what could go wrong?" She bit her cheeks before answering.

"But think about it we only need enough to rent a apartment and get you a car. So that's about like 4-7 shifts and I heard the girls down at Pink Diamonds make hella money just in one night" I thought about what she said.

"Well its not like we have to sell our body" which was true, all we had to do was dance and I was a pretty good dancer.

"So is that a yes?!" She jumped up clapping with excitement.

"I guess girl" I rolled my eyes, I couldn't believe I was actually agreeing to this.

"Good! lets go down there right now and get applications" She grabbed her keys ready to go.

I slid on my shoes and we walked out my room. I locked my room door because I don't need my mom selling no more of my shit for coke or alcohol.

"Where y'all lil heffas going?" My mom stopped us as she walked over to us trying to catch her balance standing in front of us.

"Somewhere" I answered, placing with my hands on my hips.

"Is that a attitude missy?" She said coming in my face and she smelt like piss and pringles mixed with garbage juice.
