Chapter 24

A/N: As you have probably noticed, i recently changed the name of this book. Probably because "Pan's Weakness" was actually just a temporary name. I couldn't figure out a better name at the time, so i named it "Pan's weakness" but I renamed it "I knew you were trouble" which is based on Taylor Swift's song with the same name.

Notes: This is based on 2x21 "Second star to the right" and 2x22 "And straight til the morning" of Once upon a time.

Y/N was not herself in the last few days, no one blamed her. Broken heart is the worse thing in the whole world. She truly believed that he had cared for her, but he didn't.

Hook tried his best to comfort his daughter, even if he had no clue to do it. "Are you aware of the reason he why he did what he did?" asked your father, looking down at you in your bed.

"No" was all she could say, considering that she felt how her voice was about to crack out in tears. She refused to cry in front of her father, she couldn't handle his "i told you so" lecture now.

"Okay" said Hook in a weak voice, trying to figure out a comforting thing to say "You know, i've had a broken heart to" he said and y/n scoffed in disbelief. "It's true" he said and took a seat at her seat, y/n lifted her head to him to listen "When i lost Milah, i felt heartbroken" he said and y/n rolled her eyes "That's not the same thing" she said "you knew Milah loved you, and wanted to be with you. Pan never wanted to be with me, i thought i was speical to him but i'm not special at all" she said, her voice finally breaking out in tears. "You're special to me, y/n, you're my daughter" he said trying to clean up all of her tears. "With all respect, father, that is not helping at all" she said, turning her body away from him and buried her face in the pillow, so he won't hear the crying and sobbing.

Hook sighed "You can stay here for as long as you need y/n, i'll make sure that someone else in the crew covers up your chores on this ship" he said but y/n didn't answer. "If you need anything, just ask" said Hook and left the cabin.

While he was covering up y/n's chores, he could hear a loud splash in the sea. He looked into the direction of the source, but all he could see was Pan's shadow flying in the island. The loud splash must've come from a lost boy.

He took the ship closer to the location, and seeing a young child body floating on the stomach. His men helped him fish the body up and lifted him overboard. The boy was breathing, but barely and weakly, he used most of his strength to cough out the water out of his lungs.

"Good, lad" the boy heard a voice "get the sea out of the lungs" The boy looked up to see his hero. "Who are you?" he asked the man, standing above him.

"The name's Hook, Captain Hook" he said "Welcome aboard the jolly roger, my boy". THe boy did not seem happy over the fact that he was surrounded by pirates. He was aware of what involved in their job. The only thing he was happy over was to see the one person he wanted to see for a long time. "y/n?" he asked with his last strength a weak voice, to week for Hook to understand him. He asked him to repeat his word but all the boy did was to pass out.

He took the boy in the jolly roger and forced Smee to nurse him back to health. He went to his daughter to inform her about what just happened, but she was still in the same broken/depressed condition.

In that moment, it struck him that he had absolutely no idea how to raise a daughter or any child in fact. All the advice he could give his daughter was to either kill, in order to give revenge, or drink it away. None of that advice seemed suitable at the moment, and he hated it. All he knew, is that she really needed to leave this island for good.
