   LINDSEY DUNBAR

This is bad. This turned out bad. Why am I saying that? It was mutual. Why am I overthinking this? God, I need to stop hanging out with Stiles. But then again I can't help it since Liam and Hayden are always hanging out! Just like right now, they went out somewhere in Liam's 'new' car. But I do have to admit, I liked the car.

I groaned and rolled over on my bed thinking about what just happened an hour ago, I should've went with Scott and Stiles. And as if on queue, I get a call, I quickly get up falling to the ground in the process. I get my phone and answer, "Hello?" I say. "Lin, we're coming to pick you up. We got something," Stiles says. "Yes! I mean... cool, that's fine," I shrug, I hear Stiles chuckle. Then next thing I knew they picked me up and ended up at a car dump, and while Lydia does her banshee thing Stiles explains to me what happened. Apparently while Liam and Hayden were out on their date, Liam's car broke down or something. When they saw a car, they tried to flag it down but the car crashed into a fence. That's when they found a boy alone in the car, and the windshield was broken.

"Wow, you really think this has something to do with the supernatural?" I ask, "Um... yes! Absolutely!" Stiles says. I chuckle lightly, then Stiles sighs. "You went and talked to him?" he asked, I nodded. "What did he say?" I looked down, "The feelings were mutual. Brett has been feeling the same way for a bit, and he said that we were better off as friends. And I agreed. I don't know why I'm overthinking about all this, I shouldn't be," I explain. Stiles pulls me in for a hug, "It's fine. I mean, if you worked it out and everything is okay between you guys... you have nothing to worry about," he tells me.

I look up at him and give him a smile, "Come on, let's see if we can find anything in the car," I nod and we walk over to the car. We were in the backseat trying to find... something, anything! "Hmm..." Lydia hums, Stiles and I quickly sit up and look at her. "What?" Stiles asks, "This is a perfect shade for me. I forget the name," Lydia says looking at herself in the mirror. "Can we please stay on topic here?" Stiles asks, "I'm not getting anything," Lydia tells him.

Then we hear a coyote howl, "Malia's here!" I say quickly getting out of the car. Once we were all out of the car, Malia turns back to human. Lydia hands Malia her clothes, while I hand Malia her shoes. "I don't think they're dead," Lydia says, "They're dead. Probably torn apart. The only thing I don't get is why there's no blood," Malia says as she puts on her clothes.

"They're not dead. If they were dead, I'd sense it," Lydia tells Malia, "If they were alive, I'd smell it," Malia says shrugging. "Yeah, I'm not getting anything either," Scott says, "Not getting anything here, but I still think there's something going on," I shrug. "Scott, what are you talking about? You were in his head for four minutes. I timed it," Stiles tells his best friend, "Of course you would," I sigh. Stiles glares at me, "Well, it's not an exact science. Plus, he's a kid. Maybe he's too freaked out to remember," Scott suggests.

"Why does it matter if they're dead? Dead is dead," Malia asks, "Okay, if it's a robbery, we can't help them. And if it's something supernatural, my dad can't help them," Stiles explains. "It sounds like you want it to be supernatural," Lydia says, "It's been three months since anything happened," Stiles says. "It feels like a year," I shrug, "Yeah, and once a week you drag me out of bed like I'm some sort of supernatural metal detector," Lydia says. "Okay, it is way more often than that. You can't tell me that you think this is just some series of impossible coincidences?" Stiles went on, "What I'm saying is maybe that wouldn't be so bad," Lydia says and starts walking away with Malia following behind.
