16. You Always Have A Problem

The ride to the abandoned zoo was a bit awkward, my boyfriend and my brother in the same vehicle. The thing was that my brother doesn't know that Theo is my boyfriend, I was nervous. I feel like Liam is already suspecting something is going on between Theo and I, I felt like today might be a long day.

When Theo parked his truck Liam took out his phone and called Mason, "Did it work?" Liam asks. "Yep. Nolan's right behind me. Like, literally right behind me. He's driving a bright red car. He's actually terrible at this," Mason says, "Okay, just be careful," Liam tells him. "Okay," he says and they both hang up, and once we see Mason pull up we get out of the truck and approach the vehicle.

Liam goes up to the drivers side while Theo and I go to the trunk and open it, "You've been quiet the whole ride. Everything okay?" Theo asks as he grabs some sleeping bags. I nod and get the blankets, "Yeah, I'm fine," I shrug. We walk over to Liam and Mason, "Should I come with you guys?" Mason asks. "His friends shoot to kill. Go home," Theo tells him and walks away, "Yeah, don't want anything happening to you, Mason boy," I say. He purses his lips a little disappointed, "Okay. Yeah, Lydia would kill me if anything happened to her car anyways, so..." Mason trails off. "Don't worry about it. Nolan's gonna do the rest," Liam says and goes to the trunk to get the rest of the stuff, "Don't worry about us, we'll be fine. I promise," I tell Mason.

"It's not just a pack, okay? There's an Alpha and a Banshee. They're all here," Nolan says, "I don't see all of them," one of the men say. "I don't see anyone," the other adds, "I- I saw Theo, Lin, and Liam bringing a car full of food and supplies right here. There were at least six sleeping bags, okay? They're here, they're all here!"

The three of us were hiding looking down on them, "It's just Nolan and two other guys. This isn't gonna work," Liam tells us as he looks back at us. "Where's the backup? I mean, shouldn't there be, like, 20 of them?" Theo asks, "I mean, they only saw us," Liam says. "And they're not gonna believe Nolan," I add looking down at the two men with shotguns, "Okay. Then they have to believe us," Theo says. "Isn't that right?" Theo says loudly, Liam and I look back at Theo. "Why are you yelling?" Liam whispers to Theo, "You got a problem? Oh, that's right you always have a problem," Theo tells my brother.

"What the hell are you doing?" Liam asks Theo, "Shut up!" Theo yells and throws a punch at my brother. "Theo, you're being a huge dick right now!" I yell, we all stand up. "Yeah, you see that Scott? Little Beta can't even take a punch. And what do you think Malia? What, you think that you can take me?" Theo says aloud, Liam holds onto his jaw.

"Okay, I get it. But did you actually have to punch me?" Liam asks, Theo then punches him again making Liam fall to the ground. I sigh and lean on a rock while they start throwing punches at each other, Liam pushes Theo against the wall and throws a punch but Theo dodged him. "See what I mean, Scott? He's only good in a fight when he's angry. So let's see just how angry he gets. How about if I tell him that his sister and I are together?" my eyes widened, Liam growls and right as he was about to punch Theo he punches Liam first.
