   LINDSEY DUNBAR

"I can't handle this," Liam whines as he laid on the bench, "Stop being such a baby, Liam," I say. "Yes, you can. And you've handled so much worse than this. You're practically the Alpha now," Mason says as he sits my brother up and helps Liam put on his shirt, "I'm nothing without her," I roll my eyes. "Liam, can you help me with this please?" Corey pleads as he tries to put on Liam's gear on him, "Hayden left me," Liam says. "She moved, to protect her sister. It's not like she dumped you or anything," Mason tells him, "Why is your arm so heavy?" Corey asks as he is finishing up putting on Liam's gear.

Mason grabs his phone and reads over a text, "Okay, Scott says Coach is loosing it," Mason tells us. "Scott's leaving too," Liam whines, "Going to college is not leaving, okay? It's called growing up," Mason tells him. "Which is something you need to do right now," I reply, "And were all gonna be going to different colleges eventually," Mason says as he puts on Liams gloves.

"I thought we were both applying to UCLA?" Corey asks his boyfriend, "You guys are going to the same college?" Liam and I ask. "That is not the point," Mason says as he shoves the lacrosse stick into Liam's chest, "What is the point?" Liam asks. "The point is that summer's almost over," Mason starts and both him and Corey pick Liam up by his arms and start dragging him out of the locker room while I just follow behind, "We're about to be seniors, this is about to be the best year of our entire lives, and you're still captain of the lacrosse team. So come on, we got to-" All three of them stumble back and fall on their back while getting out of the door.

I lean on the door way, "You guys are idiots," I chuckle. Mason's phone vibrates, he looks at his phone and sits up. "Coach is making Diaz captain," Mason says, Liam instantly sits up. "Wait. What?" I ask confused, next thing I know Liam is running over to the field and catches the ball that was about to go into the goal. I sit on the bleachers with Mason, when all of a sudden Liam gets thrown and falls on his back.

I hear Liam growl, and Scott quickly blows his whistle. "Oh god," I mumble, Scott runs over to Liam. "Liam, your eyes," Scott tells him, "McCall, what the hell was that? That wasn't a foul. That's called winning," Coach says as everyone gathers around them. I quickly stand up and run over to Scott and Liam, I look over at Coach and he looks almost afraid. I look back and see a wolf standing there with blood on its fur, Scott and Liam get up when they see the wolf.

The wolf growls and steps forward a bit, Liam quickly puts me behind him. "Everyone back," Scott instructs, everyone steps back except this one kid. The wolf growls again, "Nolan," Scott calls. "Nolan, hey, step back, man, You okay? What are you doing?" Nolan then finally steps back with everyone else, Scott shines his eyes at the wolf. It whimpers and slowly walks away into the woods, Scott looks back at Liam and I. We then follow behind the wolf, after a minute or two of being in the woods Liam finally breaks the silence.

"You think its a wolf-wolf or..." Liam trails off, "I think it's just a wolf," Scott replies. Then we stop, the wolf was on the ground but it wasn't moving at all. Then insects came out of its eyes and mouth, Liam and I look up. "Scott," we say, he looks up and sees other wolves everywhere dead.

Liam and I were helping Scott pack for college, while Scott and Liam were trying to close his briefcase I was packing some of Scott's stuff into a box. "Whatever happened to those wolves was definitely supernatural," Liam tells Scott, "Well, I wouldn't say definitely. It could've been a parasitic infection. I mean, we get dogs that come into the clinic that have botflies coming out of their skin," Scott explains.

"Can that happen to people?" Liam and I ask, "Yeah, they crawl under the skin, lay some eggs and eventually they..." Scott starts to explain as they finally close the very full briefcase and throw it to the bed only for the suitcase to burst open. "Burst," Scott finishes, I sigh as the three of us sit on the bed.
