   LINDSEY DUNBAR

I heard a loud piercing sound, I look around the class and everyone is doing their work. I raise my hand, "Yes, Dunbar?" the teacher says. "May I go to the restroom?" I ask, the teacher sighs. "Fine, go ahead," she says, I quickly get my bag and walk out of the classroom. I come down the stairs and see Malia and Scott start walking out, "Hey, guys! Did you hear that?" I ask. They look back at me, "Yeah, come on it's coming from over here," Scott says.

We head on outside and see Lydia standing in front of the blue Jeep I saw the other day, we get closer. Once we get to Lydia I can hear the sound coming from inside, "It's coming from inside," she tells us. Scott and Malia go over to the drivers side door, Scott tries to open the door but the door is locked. "Did somebody just lock the keys inside?" Malia asks, "Break it," Lydia tells Scott. Scott breaks the handle and opens the car door, I walk over to them and look inside the car. There seemed to be a police scanner inside.

We all get in the Jeep, Malia and Lydia get in the front while Scott and I are in the backseat trying to find anything. Then the radio stops, I stop what I'm doing and lean closer. "Uh, what?" I look at everyone confused, "Why'd it stop?" Malia asks. "It doesn't matter," Lydia says as she flicks the switch on the radio on and off, "There has to be a reason," Lydia says. "What?" I hear Scott mumble, "What?" I say. "You caught a scent?" Lydia asks Scott, "Yeah. Uh, ours. Mine, yours, all four of us," Scott replies.

"Mine? I've never been in this Jeep before," Malia says, "Neither have I," Scott responds. "Yes we have. We just don't remember it," Lydia says, "I thought we were done with that," Malia says. "Uh, yeah, Lydia. Parrish checked the VIN number. There's no record of owner," Scott tells Lydia, "The Jeep didn't just drive itself here," Lydia said.

Scott stays quiet, "I agree with Lydia," I shrug. "Who's side are you on?" Malia asks Scott, he looks at Malia and Lydia. "I'm on everyone's side," Scott responds and proceeds to keep checking the backseat, "He's not real, trust me,"Malia tells Lydia.

Lydia sighs and opens the glove compartment, "I've lost a lot of people in my life

Lydia sighs and opens the glove compartment, "I've lost a lot of people in my life. It's a long list and I don't feel like adding to it," Malia says. Lydia takes out some papers from the compartment and looks them over, "You might not have to. Not if we get him back," Lydia responds. Malia takes the paper from Lydia's hand and then hands it over to Scott, he takes the paper and reads it over. "It's from '96. And there's no name," Scott says, "But there's an address. 129 Woodbine Lane," Malia says pointing to the address on the paper. "I know that address," Lydia says, we all look over at her.

Later on that night a tow guy came and tried to tow away the Jeep, I was actually in the school library getting homework done. When Lydia texted me that they were trying to tow the Jeep, I quickly went over there. Once I got there I saw Malia break the hook from the tow truck, "Your truck's broke," Malia says to the man handing him his hook.

After the guy left Scott and Lydia went in the Jeep to try and find anything else, while Malia and I were standing outside. Then all of a sudden, we hear a roar. Lydia and Scott quickly ran up to us, "Did you hear that?" Malia asks. "I think all of Beacon Hills heard that," Lydia responds, "Who is it?" Scott asked.

"I'm not sure, but I think I recognize it," Malia says, "Go!" Lydia tells us. Malia, Scott and I quickly run to where the sound came from. We ended up in the woods, we all split up but came up with nothing. We all meet up, "Hey, any luck?" Scott asks. I shook my head, "No. He hasn't roared again. I've got a scent but..." Malia trails off. "There's something wrong with it," Scott says, "Really wrong," I add.

"It smells like whoever it is, is burning," Malia says, then another roar. We look at each other and run towards the sound, once we get to the location a body was on the ground. "I hear a heartbeat," Malia says, "Yeah, me too," I reply. "Who is that?" Scott asks, "I don't know, but I know the scent. Even through the barbecue," Malia said. We walk closer, Malia kneeling next to the body. "How do you think he got here? There's no tracks, no fire," Scott says, I look down at the man on the ground. The man opened his eyes and I jumped back startled, "Jeez! Yeah, he's definitely alive," I say.

"Oh my god. Peter?" Malia asks, the man nods. Scott kneels next to him and I kneel next to Scott, "Who's Peter?" Scott asked. "Peter Hale," Malia says, the man nods. "My dad," Malia replies, "Peter. He bit me. How could I forget him?" Scott asked. "Oh god. Random Buff Guy Peter?" I ask, "How did I forget him?" Malia asks herself.

Peter then looks down at his hand, "He has something," Malia says. Scott grabs Peter's hand and takes some of his pain away, Malia does the same. Then Malia takes something from Peter's hand, "What is it?" Scott asked. Malia holds up some keys, "Whoa..." I trail off.

While Malia took Peter to the hospital Scott and I went back with Lydia and told her what happened, we also told her about the keys Peter had. We all went in the Jeep, Lydia held the key in her hands. She puts the key in the ignition and tries to turn on the Jeep. But nothing. She tries again, but this time she pushes down on the breaks. "Don't flood it," Scott tells her, "Do you even know what that means?" Lydia asks.

"Not really," Scott replies, "I think I do," I respond. Lydia tries once more to turn on the vehicle, and this time it works. We all smile, "What now?" I ask. We all start to look around, then the radio starts to go off. Scott turns it down, "Wait. Wait, wait, wait," Lydia stops him.

"Hello? Is anyone there?" we hear a voice say on the radio, "Can anyone hear me?" we all look at each other. Lydia quickly takes the microphone and speaks into it, "Stiles?" my eyes suddenly well up with tears. "Stiles are you there?" Scott asks, "Oh my god, Stiles! Is that really you?" I ask. "Scott? Lydia? Lin? Is that you?" the voice asks. "Oh my god, Stiles. We can hear you," Lydia says, "Oh my god. You know me? You remember me?" Stiles asks. "Stiles, is this... is this you? Is this actually you?" Lydia asks, "Yeah, it's me. Do you remember the last thing I said to you?" Stiles asks. "You said... You said, 'Remember I love you'," Lydia responds, a tear falls.

"Are you okay?" Scott asks, "Where are you?" Lydia asks

"Are you okay?" Scott asks, "Where are you?" Lydia asks. "We're coming to get you," Scott tells him, "Yeah. Stiles, tell us where you are," I say. "No, no, no. You can't. You won't be able to find me," Stiles replies, "Stiles, what... what are you talking about? Just tell us where you are, and we'll, we'll come and-" Scott stammers. But Stiles quickly cuts him off, "Right, just remember this: Canaan, okay? You have to find Canaan. Just find Canaan," then the radio went off.

"Damn it... Stiles?" I call out, but nothing came from the radio.
