(Alright soooo this is kinda my first story and I want you to try to enjoy my terrible writing skills cx so enjoy!)

There was yelling and I couldn't quite make out much of what was being said because I was cowered in the corner.

But I did hear "maybe if she was never born we wouldn't be fighting!" And mommy yell "don't you dare say that!" There was a loud bang and glass smashing before I heard the loud sirens of a police man.

Is he coming for daddy?

Is he gonna save me and mommy and we can live happily ever after without scary daddy. Like the princesses in the book that get saved by Prince Charming.

I hugged my teddy close to me and sent a prayer to god asking for mommy to be ok. There was a knock on the door where I was hiding. Mommy told me to never come out unless it's her. She has a secret knock, and that wasn't her.

"Erika?" It wasn't daddy either. "Yes?" I answered.

"Can you open the door baby?" He said. I got up turned the knob slowly to be met with a police man.

"Oh police man! Are you here to save me and mommy and help is live happily ever after. Mommy always said that daddy is the fire breathing dragon keeping us trapped." He smiled at me and carried me out.

"Yes honey I'm here to save you. We're gonna go visit mommy ok?" I got excited because finally me and mommy can be happy again. She said one day God will answer our prayers and get us out of here. But when he took me outside I didn't see mommy.

"Where's mommy mister?" I poked his cheek and he smiled at me. He was smiling that was good right? "Mommy is at the doctor we can go see her now." I nodded fast. Me and mommy are going to be happy together.

It was a long car ride, but I had my toys to keep me busy so I could get there to see mommy faster. We got there soon and the police man helped me out and carried me through the doors and walked to the desk where an old lady sat.

"What's your mommys name sweetheart?" He asked. I was shy. I didn't like this lady she scared me so I decided to whisper it in his ear like a secret.

"Sarah Tanner but I call her mommy." I whispered. He nodded and told the mean lady. She typed really fast on her computer and looked back up at the officer and shook her head.

She got up and whispered in his ear. His eyes got wet and it looked like little rain drops down his cheeks. I wiped them away and grabbed his hand.

"Why are you crying mister?" He just took me to a room and I saw mommy laying in a bed. She looked really sick and smiled when she saw me. That means it's gonna be alright.

"C'mere bunny." She said. She always calls me bunny because she likes when I hop around. I ran to her and smiled

"mommy! We can be happy now! Daddy's gone!" She smiled and hugged me close. "Remember what mommy said right?" I shook my head. She said a lot of things I can't remember them all!

"Mommy has leave soon.."

"YEAH!! We can be together and happy like you promised." I interrupted. I was I excited this is great.

"You can't come with mommy baby girl." My mood quickly changed from happy to sad. "Why not?" I whined.

"Remember when I taught you about God?" I nodded. We all loved him in our house. We learned about heaven and how good people who believe in him go to heaven.

"Mommys gonna go visit him soon. And he's gonna take good care of me. I want you to keep praying because there is a god out there and he will love you as his own like daddy never could. But don't you worry child. I'll be looking down on you. You're special Erika Tanner. Very special. I love you bunny."

And then she stopped talking. "Mommy?" I whispered to wake her up. She wasn't opening her eyes.

"Mommy it's not time for nighty yet wake up." I poked her cheek and smiled. But her eyes weren't opening. I started crying. "Mommy?!" I shook her. "MOMMY PLEASE!!" They police man took me off of her and hugged me tight.

"Don't worry baby you'll be fine. "Everything's gonna be alright." I whispered to myself. Mommy's safe now.

*2 years later*

As I sit here again next to my grandma things are different. Grandma says she's sick. She says it's a dangerous sick and that soon she'll be with mommy.

"What's gonna happen grammy?" I cuddled next to her as I listened to her start to talk.

"Well baby girl, grandma's going to see grandpa and mommy up in heaven and look down on you. You'll always be safe no matter where you are. It's important that you stay strong Erika. Don't let people bring you down because you're to good for that. I love you bunny."

And that was it. I had no one left. I was scared. That's not even a good description. I was super scared. I was lost.
