{Sam's POV}
She was just amazing. There was really no other way to describe her. Everything she said and did mesmerized me, and she had been through so much it amazed me how her light had barely flickered. Even when she was telling me everything, she was beautiful and something about her made me want to hold her and never let her go.
I was pulled from my thoughts as we arrived at April's house. Nothing much had happened that day after we woke up. Just the standard packing up and leaving I remembered from when I was a kid.
"Thank you so much," she politely told my grandparents.
"It was our pleasure," Papa Roy replied.
I took her suitcase out of the trunk and handed it to her as she planted a kiss on my cheek. I felt my face heat up through my grin.
"Thank you, April. I'll text you tonight."
"No, thank you Sam. See you tomorrow in school!" she smiled back and pranced inside with a wave.
Papa Roy whistled when I got in the car.
"Sooo Sam. Looks like you had a looot of fun!" Papa Roy winked at me and Grandma just laughed. "She's a good girl Sam. Go for it," he said with another wink.
I just smiled.

{April's POV}
"Asseyez-vous, classe, asseyez-vous," Madame Miller began her hand-clapping-trying-to-get-everyone-to-pay-attention-but-failing-miserably routine that was starting to get old. But I didn't really care, as long as I had a decent-okay, perfect-seat partner by the name of Sam Woolf. Just sitting next to him made me happy.
"Parler avec in camarade de classe sur ton longue weekend," Madame instructed us. I'm pretty sure that means speak with a classmate about your long weekend.
I turned to Sam. "Bonjour."
"You're really going to speak french?" he laughed.
"Hello, then?" I laughed in response.
"Much better."
We went on like this for a while, talking about everything while somehow covering absolutely no subjects. That was what I liked about us. We didn't even have to have a real conversation to end up smiling.
The next three periods seemed to go by in a few minutes, but period 5 math class seemed to tick by slower than Mrs Olpidunski's science class-and that's saying something.
Finally, the bell rang signaling us to head to lunch. I jumped out of my seat and almost ran into Sam who was already by my side.
"Walk with me?" he asked.
"One step ahead of you, Samuel," I winked at him and sped towards my locker.
Finally, I have some time to talk to Sam.
