The Council

The next day, Logan and Jullian woke up together on Logan's couch. Clearly, his parents didn't care that Jullian slept over last night.

"Hey beautiful," said Logan.

"Hey there hot stuff," said Jullian before leaning over to kiss Logan on the head.

"Did you sleep well?" Logan asked while sitting up

"I did, probably because you were in my arms." replied Jullian "Did you sleep well?"

"Yeah" replied Logan

Logan got up from the couch and went over to the kitchen to get breakfast for himself and Jullian. He got out a frying pan, some eggs, and some sausage. Jullian walked up behind him and wrapped his arms around Logan's chest under his arms.

"I hope this is what our future is gonna be like," said Jullian while kissing Logan on the back of his neck.

"I do too" replied Logan

Jullian let go of Logan and started to help him with breakfast. Logan put his hand on Jullian's to stop him.

"No, you bought me dinner last night. I'll make us breakfast"

"Whatever you say" replied Jullian before going and taking a seat at the table to watch Logan cook.

"You know, you're cute when you're assertive?" asked Jullian

"Did you know that you're cute when you call me cute?" asked Logan.

"I'm not cute! I'm just a little, depressed emo boy!" whined Jullian.

"You're my emo boy though," said Logan as Jullian stands back up and goes back to the stove before he snuggles up to Logan while he's making breakfast.

Just then, there was a knock on the door, Logan's head bolted upward. He knew something bad was about to happen.

"I'll get it," said Jullian

"No!" Said Logan quietly "that's the werewolf council, you need to hide. Go to the basement! Please" Logan panicked.

"Umm, Ok," Jullian said, just a little bit scared as Logan quickly walked Jullian to the basement door and got him hidden way from the council. Logan's parents quickly came down the stairs and went to get the door to let the council in the house once Jullian was situated and as comfortable as possible

"So, are you sure you are gonna be ok down here?" asked Logan.

"Yeah I'll be fine, I mean this will be an adjustment to get used to of course but I promise you I'm ok," replied Jullian.

"Umm, Ok there is Some food and soda in the fridge in case you are hungry or thirsty, I'm really sorry I couldn't make us breakfast," explained Logan.

As Logan was about to head upstairs to meet with the council Jullian stopped him.

"Logan?!" Jullian shouted quietly.

"Yes, Jullian?!" Logan replied.

"I love you," Jullian said passionately. Logan walked back over to Jullian and gave him a kiss.

"I love you too," said Logan while he was playing with Jullian's hair. "I'll be back soon, ok?" said Logan.

"Ok," replied Jullian. Logan headed upstairs to meet up with his parents and the council.
