(The twins first birthday)

"Good morning my loves." I said picking up Riley as Lexie piked you Bella. I can't believe that they're already 1. It feels like only weeks ago I was pregnant but I'm enjoying this so my much more. My mum is coming over and so are Finneas and Claudia I think Lilly's coming too. "Dada." Riley said putting his fingers in his mouth. Lexie loves that the kids call me dada. "It's breakfast time dada's gonna get us some food." Lexie said taking Riley from me. "You don't need to encourage them calling me that you know." I said as we walked into the kitchen. The three of them started giggling. "I don't understand why you get to be muma and I'm dada we're both girls." I said as I started cooking. "Well we can't both be muma and you already have the boys name so it makes sense. I remember the time they both said there first word. I was on Instagram live while they were supposed to be going to sleep, people had asked me to share me singing nursery rhymes. I had just finished when Bella said dada then Riley joined in. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Everyone found it hilarious. There you go I said handing Lexie a plate of mussed up fruit as I took the other one. They finished up there food then we bought them in to get dressed for the day. "Ooo what about this." I said holding up a pink dress. Riley instantly grabbed it. "I wanna." He said looking happy. "Ok." I said going to put it on him. Ever since Riley could speak he's wanted to wear dresses. Honestly it's super cute especially now him and Bella can be matching. Lexie put Bella in the same dress and soon everyone was staring to arrive.
Later in the day
"Happy birthday to you." Everybody sang as I bought out the cake. It was chocolate there favourite. As soon I gave them a piece cake got everywhere. "Dada" Bella cried as she got cake in her eye. After the cake fiasco was over the rest of the party went well and the kids seemed to enjoy themselves.
