Ch. 2 I think they kind of like me.

(Dawn pov)
I woke up and can't feel the kids. I sit up and stretch. Suddenly I feel tow bodies in the bed and I look at Ash and Kota pretending to be a sleep. "I know you're awake." I said softly and they sit up. They look at me. "We're sorry." Kota said. "Oh it's ok. I don't mind. But for safety reasons, if you wake up before me stay in the room." I said. "Ok." Ash said. "Now who's hungry?" I ask. Their stomachs growl before they can answer. They cower down. I tickle them under their chins and they flinch back. "Relax you two. I won't hurt you. It's ok to be hungry." I said. "So what isn't ok?" Kota asked. "Well as long as you two are safe and stay out of the Alpha, Bate and Gamma's way and my way while I'm working you two are ok and then the basic stuff like don't break any thing." I said. They nod. "Now come on and I'll make pancakes." I said. They smile and nod. I got up and pick Ash up. We went down stairs and I set Ash in a chair. Kota got in the chair beside him. "After breakfast we can get baths." I said. They nod and I start the batter. I put it in the oven. "So what should we do today?" I ask the kids. They shrug and the oven dinged. I got the pancakes out as Roger and Alpha Peter come in sniffing the air. "I smell breakfast." Roger said. "I know. You always do. Now sit down or no food for you." I said and he frowns. They sat down and the kids submit as they look at them. "Are these the kids you found?" Alpha Peter asked. "Yes now leave them a lone." I said. "Why?" Roger asked. "So you can't try to influence them." I said. He frowns. "You're no fun any more. You know that?" Roger asked. "Yes I know." I said serving the kids their plates and giving the plates to them. I went and got Alpha Peter and Roger their plates. I hand them their plates and got mine. "This is delicious." Alpha Peter said. "Thanks Dad." I said as Kota and Ash agree. I chuckle and we eat. "So how long do we have to decide what we want to do?" Kota asked. "As long as you need." I said. They nod. "Dawn I have a rogue that talked about a little boy and little girl. They said they want to take them back to their pack. I think the rogue was talking about these two." Alpha Peter said. I growl. "If any one toughed them in a way they don't like I will kill them." I growl. "What was his name?" Kota asked. "Jack." Alpha Peter said. Ash and Kota freeze. Ash starts to shake with fear. "Do you know him?" Alpha Peter asked softly. Kota nods. "He's one of the scouts and they used to use us to train the new recruits. They had to track us down and attack." Kota said. I put him on my lap and just hold them. "I'll be in my room with them." I said. "Actually why don't you three got I the living room. Roger and I are going out any ways." Alpha Peter said. "Why?" I ask. "We thought it would be easier for you to comfort them with out us here." Roger said. "All right. But what if some thing happens?" I ask. "Eli is still here. He will inform you if needed or necessary. So he can protect you if some thing happens." Alpha Peter said. I nod. "Ok let's go." Roger said and they left. "Well you two want to go to the living room?" I ask. "Can we cuddle?" Kota asked. "Of course my little one." I said and he got up. So did I but holding Ash and we went to the living room. We sit on the couch and Kota layed down. He rests his head in my lap and I stroke his hair. Ash cuddles with me and I turn on the TV. I rap one arm Ash and stroke Kota's hair. Ash fell a sleep and I watch the movie as I stroke Kota's hair. After a while I look down and see Kota is a sleep. I smile to my self and close my eyes. After a few minutes I fell a sleep.
(Roger pov)
My father, Alpha Peter and I have been out all day. We walk in the door and we went to the living room. Only to find Dawn and Ash a sleep. But Kota is awake and stroking Ash's hair. "Hey how long have they been a sleep?" I ask and Kota jumps. "Oh right sorry. Don't worry I wouldn't hurt you." I said sitting beside Dawn on the couch. "Yeah. Because he knows to stay off his sister's bad side." Alpha Peter said plopping down into a chair. "They've been a sleep for at least a couple hours. I'm not really sure." Kota said. I nod and he yawns. "Why don't you go on to sleep with the girls?" I ask. "Um." He said. "Don't worry I promise no one will hurt you or Ash. I'll protect you." I promised. I caress his cheek and he fell a sleep. "Well I'm off to do work. Please move them to their room." Alpha Peter said. "Of course Father." I said. He left and I got up. I kiss Dawn's head and pick up Kota and Ash. I take them to Dawn's room and lay them on the bed. I then went to Dawn and pick her up bridal style. I take her to her room and put the kids in her arms. I cover them up and left closing the door behind me. I went to me room and changed into shorts. I took my shirt off and got in bed. I cover up and fell a sleep.
