Ch. 25 Another person.

(Dawn pov)
I woke up to banging on the door. I got up and let Cody sleep. I went to the door and opened the door. I let who ever it is in and pushed the door closed. I then look at the person I let in and it's Dominic. He's watching me catch my breath. "What are you doing here?" I ask. "My father made me come so that I could see the leader side of you." He said. "Well at least he's trying. It's more than I can say for you." I said bluntly. "But if you stay here you're demoted to second in command. Because I'm in charge." I said. "Fine." He said. "Now I have to call some one." I said going to my computer. I call Mason and he answers. "You sent Dominic?" I ask. "Yeah. I'm trying to get him to accept you. I hope you don't mind." He said. "I don't care what he chooses I just need him to choose one." I said. "Ok. Hey call me if you need some thing and if he gives you trouble slap him for me." Mason said. "Dad!" Dominic said. "Well I already told him that I'm in charge and he has to listen to me. So I will." I said. "All right bye." He said and hung up. I turn off the computer and look at Dalton who is studying Dominic and Dominic is studying Dalton. "Dalton we have a truce remember?" I ask. "I know geeze you worry to much." He said. "It's my job to worry." I said. I went to the ration room and got Dominic a steak and three bottles of blood. I went out and hand the steak to Dominic. I toss a bottle at Dalton and hit him in the face. He jumps. "Hey." He said. "Sorry." I said and set down beside Cody. I caress his cheek and I see Dominic sit down a little while away. Then Cody grabs my shirt and pulls him self to me. "Am I go to have to feed you?" I ask. He nods and I chuckle. I give him a baby bottle. It's how we teach our young control. But I get a water bottle and so does Dalton. I feed Cody and chug my own bottle. Then I take the bottles and put them away. I went back and sat beside Cody. He cuddles with me as I do work. Dalton plays with a tense ball while Dominic plays his phone. "Hey do you have a charging cord?" I ask Dominic. "Yeah." He said. "Plug your phone in. We will need it in case." I said and he does. I plug in my computer. I work while Cody sleeps on me. He needs it. He was on the storm for who knows how long. As I work Dalton hits me in the head with the ball. "Owe." I said rubbing where he hit me and I glare at him. He points to Cody and I look. Cody's shaking from the cold. I got up and got a blanket. I sit back down and put it on Cody. He stopped shaking. I look at Dalton and mouth the word thanks. He nods and I toss him the ball. I then put in ear buds and watched a movie. After a few minutes I fell a sleep.
