Ch. 16 A decision.

I woke up this morning and got up. It's been a couple weeks and today is the day Alpha Dominic tells me if he wants me. Right now, I am playing with my pups. I have been playing with them more the last two weeks. I have been trying to avoid Alpha Dominic ever since our argument. He's been avoiding me too. Which makes it easier for me. Then Kota jumps on me and we went to the ground laughing. "Hey Mommy are you ok?" Ash asked coming over. Kota sat on my stomach and Ash stood beside him. "I'm with my beloved pups at home with my brother and every thing is smooth. Why wouldn't I be ok?" I ask softly. "You seem distracted." Kota said. "Oh I'm all right. Just today is the day Alpha Dominic decides if he wants me or not and I hope he doesn't want me." I said. Then Roger runs over. "Hey it's time for your meeting with Alpha Dominic and I don't think you'll like the news." Roger said. I sigh and let my head fall back. "Fine. Come on you two. I'm not leaving you to a lone." I said. "Not even with me?" Roger asked. "No. It's not that I don't trust you. I just want them with me." I said. "Ok." Roger said softly.  "Come here." I told Ash as I get up. I pick Ash up and Kota followed me to my office. "All right Kota why don't you wait here while I do work." I said pointing to a chair beside my chair. "What about Ash?" Kota asked. "I'll keep an eye on her I promise." I said. He nods and sat down in a chair beside my chair. I sat in my chair and put Ash in my lap. I work on my computer. After a while Alpha Dominic comes in and both pups look at him. "Sit." I said. He sat down and I look at him. "What is you decision?" I ask. "But no matter what my pups stay with me." I said sternly. "Fine." He said. "But earlier you said they have to stay here." I said. "Right then I was testing you. To see how loyal you are. You pasted with flying colors." He said. "I don't appreciate that Alpha." I said growling Alpha. "Sorry and I'm sorry about the argument a couple weeks ago. I should have listened." He said. "And my decision is I'm." He paused for dramatic effect. Which just made me more nervous. "I'm accepting you." He said and smiles. I sit there shocked, frozen gaping. "Pups." I said eyeing him. "Go to your uncle." I said not looking away from Alpha Dominic. They left and he holds his arms out for me. I don't move and he sighs. He got up and came over to me. I stand up and back away. "Why would you accept me?" I ask. "I thought you wanted your mate." He said. "Yeah I want my loving mate. But you're not loving." I said and he hugs me. "Please give me a chance. Please." He said and I nod. "Ok." I said and he buried his face in the crook of my neck. I stiffens and he rubs my back. "Please don't be afraid." He said softly and I force my self to relax. I let my head fall on his shoulder. "When do we leave?" I ask. "Tomorrow morning." He said. "I need to go. I want to spend time with my pups before we go." I said. "Why? Aren't they coming with us?" He asked snuggling his face closer to me. "But I thought you said they couldn't come." I said. "I never said that. Like I said I was testing you and you passed. So they can come with us if you want." He said. I nod. "Yes I want them to come." I said. "So what would that make me to them?" He asked. "Their adopted father." I said. "I like the sound of Daddy." He said smiling as he closed his eyes. "Hey I need to get back to my pups." I said. He frowns. "Only if I can join you tonight." He said. "Ok. But one of the pups may cuddle with you." I said as I run my hand through his hair. He purrs and then there banging on my door. I jump. "What?!" I growl. Dustin and Josh come in. "Why were you banging on my door?" I ask. "Sorry but we had to make sure you weren't making any more pups before we got home." Josh said. I gape at him. "Bye." I said and left. I went to my room and found Kota awake. But Ash is a sleep. I pick Kota up. "So he accepted you. What will happen to us?" Kota asked. "You are coming with us and he will be your adopted father." I said. They nod and then there's a knock at me door. "Come in." I said and Alpha Dominic comes in. "Mind if I join you?" He asked closing the door. "Why not?" I ask and he got in bed behind me. He raps his arm around me and cuddles with me. My pups cuddle up and I stroke Kota's hair. The pups fell a sleep and then so did I.
