Nicki's POV

"Nicole!" Someone yelled. I turned over in bed, it was a shitty morning already. "Nicole Hanson!" The voice was louder than before, and the door to my room slammed open. I was pushed off the bed and hit the floor with a thud! "Get up girl!" Rose cheered.

I rubbed my side, standing up. "Ouch!" I groaned. She giggled at me.

"Get ready girl, I know it's super early but we need to go." She helped me stand and shoved me into the bathroom. "Hurry it up!"

I finished putting on my boots and Rose grabbed my arm, "So, how did last night go?" She asked.

I shrugged, "Great." I said cautiously, trying to hold in my glee. Ty walked me home, and he didn't mind at all that his hand was still in mine. It was a silent walk, but it was comfortable and relaxing. "What about you?" I asked, wanting to get off the subject of Ty.

"Perfect. We talked.... " She grinned stupidly as we headed towards my car. Cole and Nick were already arguing in the back seat of my car.

"About.....?" I asked.

"Everything. Just stupid stuff" She shrugged. We both got into the car and Cole crossed his arms.

"It's about time."

"Yeah yeah, calm your tits" I chuckled starting the car.

"Hey!" Cole growled.

"Haha bro, you have tits!" Nick cooed making Cole thump his forehead. "OW!" Nick rubbed his forehead.

"Do you guys ever stop fighting with one another?" I growled.

"We have everything to fight about!" Cole said making me raise my eyebrow. I turned up the music to ignore their stupid arguments.

I glared at the back of Cole and Nick's head. They were having that private talk thing they always did with Titus. They made sure to talk low enough so I couldn't hear. "Nicki! What's up with you! You've been distracted ever since your birthday" Rose whined.

"Sorry Roro, It's just been.... Alot." I sighed paying close attention to what she was saying.

"We need to hang out on Saturday." Rose said, "Have some bestfriend time."

"Yeah, sure. " I replied.

She grinned widely, "Okay we definitely need to go shopping, and we need to-" She trailed off, sniffing the air. A grin spread on her face as she turned around and spotted Aaron. "Hey." She said as he passed by. He gave her a look of disgust before turning back around and heading towards his friends.

Rose turned to me, teary-eyed, "What did I do wrong?" My heart broke for my best friend.

"No Roro, don't cry" I said. I noticed how humans reacted differently to their mates. Like the day Ty kissed me, the next day he avoided me. Aaron and Rose were bonding yesterday, and now he's a complete jerk. "You didn't do anything wrong." I hugged her tightly and she blinked back her tears.

"I don't know what to do anymore. I thought we were actually getting to know eachother"

"You were Rose, but Aaron is a player and you know that. To get to him, you have you fight fire with fire."

"Like what?"

"I have an idea but Titus has to agree"

She looked at me knowingly, "We're going to make him jealous?"
