Nicki's POV
"Nicki!" Cole ordered. "Get up! Hurry!"
I groaned and rolled over in bed, "I'm up, calm down." I growled in a raspy tone.
"Come on Nicki! The game is today and we seriously need to be at school early!"
"Oh shit!" I cursed jumping out of bed and getting ready. Thank goddess I took a shower the night before or that would have been time wasted. I threw on a shirt and shorts, knowing that it would be warmer out. I grabbed my sweater just in case and threw my hair into a ponytail before running out the door.
"Meet us there." Cole and Nick hopped into their car. I nodded and got into my own.

The drive was short, besides me picking up Rose. She was extra excited to be with Aaron, which made me happy for her. When I parked beside my brothers, I noticed Titus standing there too. They were all sipping on a can of Coke. Rose and I got out, slinging our backpacks on and I sat on the hood of their dark blue car. Titus' car was beside there's as well, and I knew he must have brought Ty as well. "What's up?" Cole threw me my favorite soda, Pepsi. Rose as well which was Sprite.
"The sky." Rose grinned.
Titus looked away from her which I found odd, "I think I found my mate." he announced lowly. Rose jumped a little, but to my surprise, he looked at me straight in the eye.
"Congrats man, who's the lucky luna?" Nick patted Titus on the back.
He lost eye contact with me and I saw his hand curl into a fist, which he always did when he was annoyed. "I can't say.... yet." I heard Rose growl lowly and she squeezed her can in her hands.
"I gotta go. Aaron's probably waiting for me." she excused.
"Speaking of which, what about you Nicki, have you found your mate?" Cole asked.
"No," I lied. "and even if I did, why would I tell you?"
"Uh, because we're your brothers." Cole stated in a 'duh' tone.
"Yeah, but you can't keep a secret and you're way too protective." I began to grow angry.
"Yes we can!" Cole hissed.
"Whatever you want to think Cole."
"And what's this about being "protective"?" Nick quoted.
"Don't even get me started." I muttered wrinkling my nose.
"Please do, begin." Nick frowned.
"Nicolas Dawson Hanson I said-"
"Enough!" Titus shouted. "You guys are arguing like an old married couple."
"Oh please," Nick snorted. "you and Rose do the same."
"It doesn't matter, you guys are annoying the hell out of me. Nicki is right anyways, you guys are way too protective and tell your dad everything." he exclaimed in annoyance.
Cole and Nick backed down and leant back against the car as I found myself grinning in victory. "We have to practice anyways." Nick grumbled.
"Okay then, have fun." I stuck out my tongue, and skipped inside of the school in glee. I barely won arguments with them, and to have finally won made me feel like a new person. On my way to the chemistry lab, my waist was snatched and I was nearly shoved into a dark room. I could easily detect Ty's scent as his lips melted on mine.
I felt his teeth graze my lower lip, and I was about to push him back when suddenly, he found his way to my neck. I was frozen as I heard his growls fill the entire room. "Ty," I whispered breathless. "your wolf." I reminded him. It wasn't the first time it happened. In fact, his eyes were also changing colors. Valerie was clawing to be set free, but I reeled her back into my mind.
