~Chapter 2~

Nicki's POV

I was in a trance. The way his muscle flexed when he ran his hand through his hair. His lips looked so inviting and warm. Then she began to talk and I was thinking of a million ways to kill Emily.

'Go away!' I growled at her through mindlink. She jumped back, startled and caught my eye. Tyler tried to get her attention, but she made up an excuse and left.

"Why are you looking at my brother?" Titus asked making me suck in a breath.

"I just....... need to ask him a question. Head off to class without me." I almost whispered walking off before he could object.

Tyler's adorable eyes widened when he saw me and he put a drawing pad and pencil away."H-hi Ni-c-cole" He stuttered cutely.

"Hi Tyler!" I grinned at him. "You can just call me Nicki. All of my friends do." I laughed.

"F-friends?" He asked.

"Of course. Do your friends call you Ty?" He nodded with large eyes, "Then Ty it is." I confirmed.

"O-Okay" He stuttered.

"Nicki!" Rose ran down the hall and hugged me when she caught up. "He noticed me!" She squealed jumping up and down. My brain tried to figure who had noticed her, but I came up with nothing.

"Who?" I asked.

"Aaron!" She said as if it were obvious. Wait, she didn't tell me Aaron was her mate.

"Wait, you mean Aaron is your-" She covered my mouth and looked at Tyler. I instantly felt bad for forgetting he was there.

"Oh s-sorry. I-I'll jus-s-t g-go" He stammered. I tried to speak but Rose's hand was still on my mouth. He left before I could interject and I began to miss him already.

"Okay, so I was walking down the hallway and he looked at me. He even smiled and winked!" She squealed. I slapped my hand over her mouth that time.

"You didn't tell me Aaron was your mate!" I growled. She couldn't reply because the bell had rung and we both had to go to class.

"Hey guys." Jacqueline waved at us.

"Bitch alert." Rose whispered in my ear. I laughed lowly and gave her a pointed look.

"Hey Jac!" I smiled and she smiled back.

"Hey Nicki. Rose..." She discreetly glared at Rose who only stuck her middle finger at her. They had past problems. Plus, she was dating Aaron.

"Come on, Rose." I dragged her into the cafeteria and saw 3 optional tables.

Option 1: Titus, Aaron, my brothers, and all the other football players.

Option 2: Lonely Tyler

Option 3: The normal table Rose and I sat including the cheerleaders.

I took a deep breath and headed towards Ty's table. "Where are you going?" Rose whispered. Ty saw me coming and he grinned. Just as I was sitting down, a hand snatched out and grabbed my waist.

"Let go of me!" I growled wiggling in the persons lap.

"Nope." Titus' annoying voice whispered back.

Turning around, I saw Ty's face fall and I felt guilty. "Let go of our sister " Cole and Nick growled at Titus. He gently sat me on the other side of him and I crossed my arms and gave Rose a tight smile. She was sitting next to Aaron and they were having a conversation.
