Tsundere! King Dedede x Maid! Reader

Ugh those two are at it again.

You sighed as you watched Kirby bolt past you, a furious king hot on his trail.

"ALRIGHT C'MERE YOU LITTLE PINK PEST! ITS CLOBBERIN TIME!" The furious king shouted as he slammed his hammer down, barely missing the pink puffball

"DEDEDE STOP! RUN KIRBY!" A certain female cappy called out in panic, following the king and the puffball, her brother close behind.

When will they learn. You sighed, already imagining the mess you'll have to clean up.

Despite everything they went through, the king still didn't want Kirby to be there. He had changed though, not many could notice it as they were small changes.

A slightly more respectful tone when talking to others, he got less frustrated from simple things, and of course, he stopped ordering monsters.

True his excuse was, "Those monsters never do me any favors, I ain't gonna spend my money on clobberin dat dere Kirby when I can do it myself."

After that, the King stopped actively hunting Kirby down, spending more time working on his kingdom and whatever else he does now. That didn't mean that when ever he did see Kirby, and was in a particularly foul mood, he wouldn't start to "clobber dat Kirby"

Yet you still couldn't help but feel a tugging at your heart whenever the king came close to you, even though the rare times he did was to tell you to clean.

Its not like I like him though. Right?

Finally done.

You let out a sigh of relief as you finished up dusting King Dedede's room.

"Perfect!" You said aloud, feeling a rush of pride.

The door suddenly slammed open, startling you and making you drop your broom in surprise.

"WHAT'RE YOU DOING STILL HERE? AREN'T YA DONE CLEANING?"

"Y-yes sir! I was just leaving." You stuttered before gathering your stuff frantically and bolting out.

As you walked by, you couldn't help but over hear The King mutter under his breath something that broke your heart.

"Worthless servant." He grumbled.

Worthless.

Servant.

You took a deep breath and continued pushing the cart. You sped up as you felt yourself start to crack, unaware of the King watching your quick departure.

You turned the corner quite sharply, almost crashing into a familiar Cappy girl and her brother.

"Oh my! I do apologize, I didn't see you there!" You quickly stopped making sure they didn't hurt themselves.

"Its ok, you're Y/N right?" Tiff polietly questioned, taking a step back from the cart.

"Yes I am, do you need any help with something?" You asked curiously, surprised they knew your name.

"Actually, we were wondering when your next day off was." Tiff asked.

"My next day off? Let me think, um, never." You joked with a small smile.

"If I may ask why?" You questioned

"Well we always see you working really hard every day, and we thought it might be nice to take you on a fun day out with us." Tuff jumped in excitedly.

"Poyo!" Kirby agreed as he jumped up and down excitedly.

"While that does sound fun I'm not sure if I can...his majesty doesn't usually give us vacation days." You tried gently, trying not to completly disappoint them.
