Costumes

"Finally...my master piece is finished.." You chuckled to yourself tiredly, lifting the fabric into the air.

"After 5 tiring weeks, I have finally created the best thing ever."

Carefully, you began to slip on the outfit.

Buttoning up your uniform and clipping on the belts you looked at your reflection with a grin.

Pretty good if I do say so myself.

You had managed the difficult task of creating your costume from scratch, just in time for the costume party.

"Hehe I wonder what he'll think of this." You hummed, spinning in a circle and enjoying the flow of the cape.

Carefully, you clipped the sword to your belt, and slipped on the silver mask.

Giggling to yourself once more, you threw a black cloak over yourself, wanting to hide the outfit until you arrived at the party.

Quickly you set off, the heel of your boots clicking against the ground.

"Y/N!"

You were halfway to the party when you were stopped by the familiar cappy siblings.

"Oh hi Tiff! Hi Tuff!" You replied cheefully, waiting for them to catch up.

You looked over their outfits, seeing that Tiff dressed up as a princess and Tuff decided to go for a knight.

"Poyo!"

You glanced down at the small puffball, almost passing out from how adorable he looked.

Kirby smiled at you, showing off the small fangs that glinted in the corners of his mouth. The fluffy ears and tail that adorned him gave him the irresistible cuddle buddy look, and you had to will yourself from grabbing him and hugging him for all eternity.

"You guys look amazing!" You spoke, a smile spreading across your face.

"What are you dressed up as?" Tuff questioned, staring at your cloak quizzically.

"You'll see." You giggled, turning back around.

"Now come on! We don't want to be late!"

The party was filled with a wide variety of costumes, from angels to vampires.

With a quick scan of the room, you were pleasantly greeted with the realization that no one else had dressed up like you.

Just as I planned.

Another quick scan of the room allowed you to locate a certain jester and egg-cat.

"Magalor! Marx!" You waved, quickly darting over to them.

"Oh, Y/N!" They both greeted happily.

Marx was dressed as a demon, his fangs glinting in the light everytime he smiled.

Magalor, similar to Kirby, wore a pair of fluffy cat ears and a tail, he looked slightly embarrassed and you could only assume the costume idea was given by Marx.

"You two look adorable!" You squealed excitedly, making Magalor even more embarrassed.

"What are you dressed as though?" Marx questioned, giving you a confused look.

"You'll see.." You giggled once again.

"Ladies and gentlemen!" A voice boomed over the speakers, making the three of you turn around.

"Thank you all for coming tonight! As a special treat from the king himself, the costume contest will begin soon. Contestants please make your way to the stage now." Escargoon spoke, indicating towards the line that had begun to form.
