Blackmail

Chapter 8

"Well look who it is," the person says. I scramble back. Ashley stands above me smirking. Sam, Sarah, and Kaitlyn stand behind her.
My eyes widen in fear as Kaitlyn walks closer. Ashley puts her hand out and Kaitlyn stops. Sam walks up to me and stands there.
"So we heard from a little birdy that you and Alex are just friends. Don't you remember our agreement?" Sam asks. I nod shakily. She laughs.
"You better fucking listen. You are dating him as a GIRL. You will look and act like one, you hear me," she says lifting me up by my neck. I manage to nod and she drops me.
"Good," Ashley says. She hands me a bag of clothes and I look down into it. A bunch of slutty girl clothes lay inside staring up at me.
I frown and look up at them. Sarah walks up and smiles. She comes up to me and crouches down to my height.
"This is what you're going to wear. No complaining or else," she says. She slaps me and gets up.
They walk away, Kaitlyn shooting a glare at me. Once they are out of sight, I throw the clothes into the pond. I sit there shocked at myself once I realize what I had done.
The others walk up to me and immediately sense that something is wrong. Everyone except for Alex walks to a bench and sit down so I can have some space.
"Hey Max," Alex says. I shrink back in terror and his eyes narrow. He walks over and puts his hand out. I flinch back.
He sighs and crouches down in front of me. He looks me over and frowns. The others pretend that they aren't watching as they pull out homework.
"What's wrong?" He asks. I look around and see Sarah standing behind a tree. She glares at me. Alex turns around and sees her. He gets up and walks over.
Milly and Cody get up and walk over with him. Anna and Julie come and sit beside me. Anna looks about as scared as I am and Julie grabs her hand.
I can't stop the small smile that erupts seeing them. I look back over to the others and see Kaitlyn and Sam are there. Ashley stands behind her body guards.
I stand up and walk over to them. Anna runs over to me and tries to pull me back. I shake my head and stand beside Alex. He flashes me a smile and glares at the girls.
"What did we just tell you?" Ashley asks. I flinch back and frown.
"What did you just tell him? Care to explain yourselves?" Alex asks. Ashley's eyes widen and then her face splits into a grin. Sarah walks over to me.
"Didn't we tell you not to tell him that you're a trans freak?" She asks laughing. She lifts me up by the shirt and looks me in the eye.
I nod slowly. She throws me into a small tree and I crash against it. I groan in pain and Anna runs over to me. She kneels in front of me and helps me up.
I walk back over to the others. Cody is yelling at the girls and the girls stand there smirking. I take out my phone and go onto the group chat with me and my brothers.
I hand my phone to Julie and she nods. She texts them quickly and I stand beside Alex.
"Well wouldn't it be a shame if your parents found out?" Ashley asks interrupting Cody. I freeze up and stare at her in disbelief. She smiles.
"I mean, they would kick you out but that's not a problem. Well not for us at least," she says laughing. The others laugh along with her.
Alex turns and looks at me. He turns back around to the girls and punches Sam in the face. She stops laughing and clutches her nose.
Milly grabs Ashley and throws her into the pond. A huge splash comes up and it soaks Kaitlyn and Sarah. Cody grabs Sam and Kaitlyn and throws them in the pond too.
Sarah stands there shell shocked for a moment and then turns and bolts down the street. Ashley pulls herself out of the pond and turns to me.
"I'm going to tell them," she says. Then she turns and struts away in the most ungraceful manner possible. The other two follow behind her like little ducklings.
We walk over to the bench and sit down. I put my head in my hands and groan. Mike, Dan, and Antonio run up to us.
"What happened?" Antonio asks. I start shaking and Alex wraps his arms around me. I sniffle quietly and look up at my brothers.
"They're going to know," I state.
