DEEP WOUNDS

"LISAAAA!" I shouted once I entered our house .

"Lalisa Pranpriya Manoban get your ass here or I will kill Leo !" I screamed as my heart started to irritates from what I am seeing here in the living room where our 2years old daughter Louise is sleeping on the floor while the television is on and an ice cream evident all over her dress and face and junk foods around her while still holding a spoon.

Lisa and I married one month after we graduated college and after 2 years, decided to have a baby with the help of IVR . I am now the CEO of the Le' Manoban Inc branch here in South Korea while she managed two of her companies in Thailand and the other 10 ? She gave those to Bambam and to her uncle like what we planned years ago .

I grab the spoon on her hand and carry her to the couch and I pull off my coat . I heard a door clicked and I look back seeing my wife with swollen eyes and nose. Sneezing badly coming out of the bathroom .

"Oh my God what happened to you love ? Are you ok ?" I approached her and touch her forehead and neck .

"You're hot!" I shouted.

"I know I'm hot that's why you love me" she teased then smirk .

"Still cocky even having that fever. Have you drink meds? Why didn't you texted me?!" I peck her lips and drag her to the couch besides our daughter.

"I don't want you to worry I'm sorry and I don't know where are the meds" she lazily answered with heavy eyes .

"I told you to hire someone to look for the company in Thailand! look at you love.. You're going in and out of the country weekly because of your work" I walk towards the kitchen . I grab 2 face towels and wash it with warm water . I gave the first one to Lisa and told her to put it on her forehead and I will deal with her later but first I will wipe the other towel to my princess to clean her up.

As soon as I'm done cleaning and replacing our princess PJ's , I stand up and ready to bring her into my arms to take her to her room when Lisa interrupt and move me slightly .

"Love you're sick. I can carry Louise please rest" but she insisted without talking . I pouted looking at her state . She was obviously pretending to be strong but I know she is now too weak . But her state doesn't change the fact that she didn't want me to deal with a "father's duty" . I smile as I walk towards the kitchen to grab another wet towel, glass of water and a medicine for my partner.

"She is in deep sleep now love" Lisa said while resting on our bed . I walk and sit beside her and started wiping her body.

"You have to rest too love I can handle that" she was about to grab the towel I have but I resist .

"Let me take care of you . I'm your wife remember?" I chuckle and she grin . I took the medicine and the glass of water and handed it to her . I stand up and grab my phone to call someone.

"Good evening Dahyun. Sorry for a late night call I just want to tell you to clear all my schedule tomorrow. My wife is sick and she needs me now.... Got it ! ...thank you" when the call ended, I look back at my wife who is now laying on bed. The towel is on her forehead and closing her eyes .

I lay down beside her as I caressed her cheeks .

"Even if it takes me forever to take care both of you, I will do it and I will not get tired my Love" I said and I saw her open her eyes slowly .

"Thank you for everything Jennie. You, Kuma, Leo and Louise are the best things that happened to me and I will exchange everything for your happiness" she grab my hand and kiss the top of it .

"I promise to keep you all safe and happy in all I can do" she added . Tears roll down on my cheeks . She wipes it and smile at me . I cupped her head and kiss her passionately. I pull out and let my forehead rest on her.

"I love you. I love you . I love you Lisa. I am so in love with you and we are so lucky to have you" She hugged me and I hug her back .

Sometimes, you may see life is so unfair with you because of what is happening around you . You may feel hurt and pain like the world is against in your happiness and that's how you started to hate everything and even everyone .

But always remember that life will always bring you the worst, but let that worst pull you up more by getting stronger and braver because when you once deal with the worst part, you can handle what's will come next with heads up high .
