You slowly flutter your eyes open, to see Jotaro hovering over you, a tear flowing down his cheek.
"What's wrong?"
Jotaro quickly noticed and began to wipe away. How could he be so careless to let himself cry infront of you?
"Nothing."

God, the fact that you loved someone else broke him. But he saw it coming anyway. Maybe he should've prepared better. Get over it. The thoughts overwhelmed Jotaro.

A small sob escaped from his mouth. He couldn't let him break down in front of you. In attempt to cover it up, he let out a small cough. But it was too much to believe.

Another sob escapes his mouth.
"Jotaro.."
He covers his mouth, not sure what to do. Should he run to the bathroom and let his emotions out? Should this be the perfect time to confess? Should he leave? Too many thoughts at once. It was too much for Jotaro.

More and more tears slowly escape Jotaro's eyes. What was he going to do when you were with someone else? Would you pay less and less attention to him? Would you forget him?
You looked at him softly.

He takes a quick glance in your eyes. The eyes that he could stare at for hours.
"Is there something wrong..?"
He listens to your voice carefully. That soothing yet sour voice of yours.
You belonged to someone else, not Jotaro. He had to cherish what he could until that day comes. The day where you and Kakyoin admit your love to eachother.

The cool demeanor he kept was gone. What now showed was a man, an emotional one, refusing to let out his feelings. Was this even Jotaro?

Each and every thought broke him a little more. More and more tears escape. He refrained himself from sobbing.

You couldn't stand it. You pull him into a hug, caressing his large back slowly. Jotaro finally let go of his mouth, quiet and soft cries coming from that smooth deep voice of his. It was.. So unusual for him to break down like this. It would usually be in anger, but this time it was out of sadness. What, who was making him feel this way? Seeing Jotaro break down made your heart ache. So much. You wanted to be the best friend you could by making him feel better.

Jotaro places his large hand on your back, inhaling your scent, a sweet, but sour smell like lavender and lemons. The scent he loved so much. He had to savor everything before you were gone.

Minutes passed by, around 20 minutes, and Jotaro calmed down. You still kept him in your embrace, twirling his soft jet black locks in your fingers.
"Do you want to tell me what's bothering you?"

Was it Jotaro's perfect chance to confess his love? Or would it just ruin you and Jotaro's close friendship? He sighed. It was better off to stay silent. Nothing bad could happen if he said nothing, right?

Jotaro shook his head, refusing to explain. You didn't want to force an answer out of him, so you hummed in response. It was silent for a while.

"If you want to talk to me about anything, I'm right here, no matter what happens. Okay?"

No matter what happens? Would you still keep Jotaro in your life after he confesses his love? Would you still treat him the same? No, he was too tired to say anything. He kept quiet.

You breathed in Jotaro's scent, the smell of cologne, not too strong, and this other scent, you were unable to describe. It was calming.

Jotaro let go of the embrace, laying back down.
"..Don't speak about this."
You lay down as well, staring at the ceiling, and glancing over to Jotaro. You sighed, before scooting closer to him. The two of you fell asleep, close to each other.

No, the two weren't dating. Just close friends.
