it's almost christmas.
and what do dumb utaite dorks do?
yes, they go on a vacation trip and have a test of courage on a scary cave though it's waaayyy past halloween already.
mafumafu and his hikifest gang decided to have a vacation on a private island together. mafumafu's parents owned the island but didn't really use it anymore, so they handed it down to mafu and so this happened.
earlier, the dorky utaites went swimming on the beach together, played on the water and just had fun like children. urata's height is like a child's but we shouldn't judge, we do not want to make an old man angry.
they also played volleyball, but turned out to be a chaotic sport since nobody really knew how to play it properly, they just did what they want. luz even served the ball with his stomach and told them the ball bounced off because of his almighty 'abs'.
now, it was nighttime and the utaites just finished having a barbecue party.
they were all full but they didn't want to go to bed yet. mafumafu suggested that they go on a hot spring- but it's a private island, it doesn't have that.
the utaites went silent, thinking of some things they could possibly do to kill time and forget boredom when suddenly, shima spoke up.
"i saw a cave earlier when i was walking around the island. maybe we can have a test of courage there?"
everyone's eyes immediately lit up at the idea- except for a few.
the few being y/n, soraru the scaredy-old-man, amatsuki, sakata, mafumafu and sou. they aren't good with scary things but they didn't have a choice since everyone was going for it.
they fetched some flashlights from their rooms and shima led them to the cave.
the utaites decided to go on pairs, but they were 15 people so there has to be a group of three.
sakata and amatsuki volunteered on taking y/n, since she was the only one who doesn't have a pair and the two liked the girl, but didn't want to have rivalry between each other so they just agreed on sharing her no matter what.
the y/n, amatsuki and sakata trio were decided to go fourth after soramafu, evesou and shimasen. (here you can see my ships-)

the three pairs finished and were miraculously still alive- just traumatized, and it was time for amatsuki, sakata and y/n to go inside the cave now.
sakata and amatsuki were scared as shit they almost pissed their pants, but agreed on hiding it since they didn't want to look uncool in front of y/n. they also wanted to protect y/n (these dorks think monsters are going to show up) and maybe that would make y/n love them both.
the three went inside slowly, arms all clinged together with y/n in the middle and sakata and amatsuki on her left and right side. the two men gulped, and y/n was already trembling from fear as she holds on tighter to the men beside her.
not even halfway through the cave, y/n screamed loudly when some bats made noise. amatsuki and sakata almost did too, but thankfully, they held back their girly and high-pitched screams.
"KYAAAAA!" y/n screamed again when a drop of water suddenly fell on top of her head. she thought it was something but it was only water, making all three of them relieved.
halfway through the cave, amatsuki keeps saying 'we're halfway there, just don't scream.' on his mind as a reminder-
"AAAAAAAAAA!!"
"FUWAAH!!"
"ASJKLD$%#&*!!!!"
-but a rat suddenly ran through the feet of them three, making them all scream in disgust, nervousness and fear.
they stopped on their tracks for a second and went silent, amatsuki and sakata are now scared that y/n might be turned off by their girly screams and think they're huge scaredy-cats.
when suddenly, y/n said, "i didn't know you two were scared as well! you guys should've told me! so that i wouldn't rely entirely on both of you. i feel bad, i didn't even ask if you guys are okay and just cared about myself.." she said with a sad tone that made sakata and amatsuki feel sad as well.
the two held both of her hands and sakata spoke, "don't worry y/n-chan, you're no bother! we are scared but didn't want to look uncool in front of a lady like you. and besides, we wanted you to rely on us, it makes us feel strong." he explained and smiled at y/n as amatsuki continued what he was saying.
"that's right! we were the ones who volunteered on taking you to our team so we should protect you at all costs, you matter to us more than we do to ourselves, y/n-chan." amatsuki added and smiled at y/n too.
y/n felt relieved and really happy that the two cute utaites care about her so much.
she intertwined her fingers with both of them, "then, shall we go to the exit altogether?" she asked and the two nodded.
screams were then heard from here to there, but the three made it out of the cave with haggard but smiling faces.
the utaites soon finished their test of courage and all went back to the beach house and rested on their rooms.
amatsuki and sakata kept thinking about y/n.
soon, maybe their next test of courage will be the time they test their courage of confessing their feelings to her.
