I gathered my books from my locker. I turned right to go to the classroom and--
"Hey Haily!"It was McKie, my best friend.
"Hi." Not surprised since she does it everyday to me and gave her a smile.
We went in our seats. We're not seat mates because I was in the first column while she was in in the sixth column.
Professor Carter went in. "Good afternoon class.
"Good afternoon Mr. Carter," we replied.
"I know it's just after lunch break, but I have a surprise for you," he said with a suspicious smile.
Everyone started smiling and whispering to their seat mates. Too bad, I'm not that close with my seat mate, Ynah Moon. Not because she's bad, but she almost never talks. I know Mr. Carter was sarcastic, but I'm not sure.
Mr. Carter continued," We are going to start to create your concept paper or your research paper. Form a group with nine members." He laughed silently.
I knew it. All started frowning and growling quietly. He discussed about the paper. And school moves on.
Then the bell rings for dismissal.
McKie and I headed to Alice's house, our friend, to hangout with the group.
