I watch too much Yagami Yato so if you've listened to him, you're def gonna recognize this. No smut, cos I hafta keep my rating, but it's similar to whats happening before. I might write sm similar with the smut, but again, on a different book cos I don't want this to get a mature rating.
Also there's a solid 500 words of just them kissing at the end. I haven't wrote that het, have I?

Tamaki let out a breath. His whole family was out, save for himself, on some trip to get Christmas gifts. Of course, this was a perfect rime to have Mirio over, because they'd both wanted to stay at the indigoettes house. But he was just too scared of something being suspicious.
They'd gotten together together jist a few months ago, but nothing much was happening yet. No kisses, no 'I love you's.' It was too knew to Tamaki, and cuddling in the dorm couches when noone else was around was enough for a while. Of course, they both still visited each other on weekends and some holiday breaks, but that was about it of their out-of-school adventures.
But Mirio had never been able to come to his new boyfriend's house, only able to speculate why, however. He figured one of his parents just wouldn't like having people over. That was the best thing he could think of, he didn't like to think of any of the other options that came to his mind.

“It's... uh... real nice when noone's home. Have you been here?” then Tamaki realized how fucking stupid that sounded, shaking his head. “Gahh, no, of course you haven't, what am I saying?” he rubbed his eyes, then walked in and stomped his boots on the mat to get all the snow off. He placed them in the getabako, looking over at Mirio, as he hadn't said anything yet. “M-miri?”
“huh?” the blond shook his head, blinking his big blue eyes a couple times. “Ah! Sorry! I soaced out a second there, haha! Did you say something?” Mirio copied the other's movements, following him as he walked to the kitchen, speaking nervously, as if people were watching him. That's how he always spoke, but it always felt more relaxed when it was just the two of them, usually watching movies in their dorm. He felt really glad to be able to make the teen's anxiety lighten up on him just a little.
“No, no! Y-youre fine. Hum... Nng, I can make some hot cocoa! We have a really really good recipe here, especially if you like chocolate.”
“Well that's great, because I love both of those things!”
Tamaki smiled softly at his enthusiasm, nodding as he brought up a stool meant for his sister to grab something on the top shelf. It wasn't working.
He was about to see if the pasta he'd had for lunch could help him, but then he heard Mirio's voice. “You need a little help?” he chuckled, putting his hands on Tamaki's sides and lifting him up where he needed to be.
The indigoette nearly screamed when he was picked up, not expecting that in the slightest. He quickly grabbed what he needed, not wanting to stay up there for any longer than he needed to, and was let down. He took a breath as the other giggled st him, only realizing that he hadn't been let go until Mirio's arms were completely around him and his head eas on his shoulder.
“I wanna watch! I wanna learn so I can make it too!”
Tamaki's smile returned, a chuckle escaping his lips. “It's not that special, there's just a few new things...”

“chocolate...” Mirio giggled, fillimg his spook once more and scooping the drink into his mouth. It was much too hot to drink from the cup, and they didn't have straws, so spoons had to do. Along with a great recipe -- just as promised -- there was a stick of dark chocolate inside that melted and made it even more chocolatey. Well, it was white chocolate for Tamaki because he thought dark ruined it.
After lighting a fire and setting up a few pillows, the two boys were content.
Tamaki was fine just like this, and he could still feel the flush on his cheeks and the tips of his ears when the fire was right in front of them. He loved this a lot. He felt calm and safe, just sitting here against Mirio. They didn't need music or a movie to do things like this, and it felt really nice.
Until he felt eyes on him.
Tamaki didn't know where they were coming from, and the occasional rub of his shoulder didn't make the nervousness any better. He glanced around, scared they were coming home earlier than he'd expected. But then he realized that those eyes were Mirio's.
“Ah, I'm sorry, man! You're just so happy... I never see you like that.” apologising never seemed to make it better, but he still wasn't out of the habit.
Tamaki shook his head. “N-no- I-Im sorry-”
“For what?”
He put his head in his hands, groaning. “I-I ruined the moment, didn't I..? It's so easy for the moment to be ruined with me...” he peekee up at Mirio. “Wh... Why would you want someone like that..?”
The blond looked actually shocked, but then he got closer and gently removed his hands from his face. “Bcos I love ya, man!” he'd said it before, but it still made Tamaki's face light up like a christmas tree. They didn't say it every time they left one another, it was still just a thing of the moment, but that didn't stop his heart from melting. “I love ya and I wanna help you though it, Tamaki!”
Tamaki could feel his cool breath on his face, not realizing until then just how close they really were. Their noses were practically touching, and that didn't do any good for his flush.
“Look, I-” he struggled for a moment to find words, which was surprising, as he always seemed to know what to say. Mirio was good with his words. Or, at least, getting them out of his mouth. Sometimes they didn't make sense, but he was better off that Tamaki in that regard. “Just... lemme...”
Then the distance between them was closed.
Tamaki's eyes shot wide open, sucking in a surprised breath through his nose. This was really happening, he could hardly believe he was kissing Mirio. Or, not really. He was being kissed by Mirio. And... his lips were just as soft as he'd always imagined them being. Weren't his lips chapped? Oh, god, what if Mirio didn't want to kiss him again because his lips weren't like he imagined? He raised a shaking hand, it finding it's way onto Mirio's shoulder. He wasn't pushing away, he just... it was just there. He couldn't tell if that worry was just stupid, but he had calmed down about what was happening just a little. Enough to finally realize that it wasn't a proper kiss untill he kissed back.
He blinked slowly as he leant forward and put the effort in, his eyes remaining half lidded for a moment before they finally closed.
His hand n left the other's body, now trying to find his hand absentmindedly. He didn't think it'd have gone on for this long, but he couldn't deny he knew why, or that he wouldn't want it to stop either, and that he personally wouldn't have stopped either either. Tamaki felt warmth and cold at the same time, the two not cancelling each other out, somehow. There was this tingly feeling everywhere that'd sprouted from the points of contact and dragonflies in his stomach, and his thoughts running by too fast for him to properly think them before the amazing feeling just completely washed them away.
Tamaki found his boyfriend's hand ans squeezed it, shifting slightly under the weight of it all before he realized his was being supported by Mirio's other hand. He didn't have time for the anxiety that his movements brought, moving his hand from behind him on the floor, clutching the carpet, to the back of Mirio's neck-- then up into his hair.
He was sure this would have gone on a lot longer if he hadn't been forgetting he needed to breathe, suddenly feeling the tension in his chest and the panic. He broke the kiss swiftly with a gasp of air, hardly pulling back or away, jus tletting himself get his breath back. He seemed to have startled Mirio, and he opened his mouth to apologize, but he was just looking at him in a way that make his words catch on his tongue.
“Are you alright?” he asked, softness almost uncharacteristic. Tamaki just nodded, realizing now his ears were folded down over themselves, still tipped with that peachy color his blush was.
“Yes..” he felt himself slowly be let down onto the floor, and hardly had time to realize the position they were in before he was kissed again.
