Luca POV:

The bullet stung like a bitch, thankfully it was just a graze but I could've never let Sang chase that car without cover.

I could see in her eyes that she was worried for me but she wouldn't have forgiven herself if anything happened to that guy and because of that I couldn't force her to stay by my side even though I was so tempted to drag her back after I watched her go.

"You ok bro?"

Noah was stood over me, thankfully unharmed.

In all honesty, I was fine apart from the heart attack Sang almost gave me from running out into open fire. Silly, gorgeous girl.

I took the hand he offered me.

"Yeah, just a graze, I'll be fine. We should probably go find her, I know she can handle herself but she shouldn't have to"

Noah nodded at me and we both made our way up to their apartment, following the trail of blood the big ass paint by numbers left behind.

We knocked a couple times but no one was answering and I was starting to get impatient, so I just walked in. If they have a problem with that then they should probably start answering their door.

Three guys sat on couches in the centre of the room looking like a seen from a slaughter movie. They all seemed to distracted to stand to greet us. Rude.

The guy with brown hair finally decided to acknowledge our presence. He stood at a height of about 6'0, a couple inches shorter than myself. He looked drained but on high alert as he took us in.

"Who are you? You can't just walk in like that."

I just huffed and sat on the sofa. I wasn't going anywhere until they showed us to Sang.

" Sorry about him" Noah grumbled, ever the polite one, " our friend came to help you, we need to see her"

The guy's eyes flashed with panic but he covered it up.

"You can sit down" he ushered my brother to the seat next to me.

I took a moment to assess the situation, like Sang had taught me.

The other two guys were very similar looking, twins. Tall, broad and blonde. One looked distraught while the other just looked angry which didn't seem unusual for him.

Looking over to the kitchen table, there was blood all over it, some dried but the rest had collected in a pool.  Considering the amount of blood and the fact that there was no longer a body on the table, Sang had saved their friend.

Given the way that the sad twin was looking at the closest door and the mad twin was looking at the farthest door, I could only assume that in the closest room laid their recovering twin and in the farthest was my girl.

Aiming my question to mad twin, I gestured to the door.

"Want to tell me what you're so pissed off about?"

The guy didn't even look shocked, he just shook his head but the guy from earlier spoke up.

"What's your friends' name?" he looked towards Noah, obviously deeming him the nice one.

Idiot.

"Where is she?" Noah looked innocent, pleading even but I knew he was as worried as I was.

They were keeping something from us and they had no right to. Not when it came to Sang.

"I will kill you if you've hurt her"

When a guy I recognised from earlier came around the corner without Sang and much more blood covering him than before, I saw red and charged at him.
