Chapter 13 - I know what will cheer you up

Hey! There are movie spoilers in this chapter. The movies are Titanic and Bridge to Terabithia.

"Jade texted me. She wanted to know if I wanted to go out for lunch." Niall said, joining us at the table with a plate of toast.

"What happens if the paparazzi get a picture of you and her together?" Liam asked.

"Ehm... I don't know." Niall shrugged.

"The fans will want to know why you were out with her and if you're still dating Rachel. You might get asked on Twitter or an interview." Liam said, worried.

"Don't worry Li, I'll make it clear to Jade I'm not interested and then once she understands that I'll get back together with Rach." Niall explained.

"What time are you meeting her at?" I asked.

"One. Don't worry nothing will happen between me and her." Niall replied.

"I'm not worrying, I know you'll be fine." I said before finishing my toast."Will you still be staying at my house once we leave Liam's?"

"Probably not but I'll text, call and we can go on Skype. Liam can I stay here?" Niall asked.

"Yeah, sure buddy." Liam said.

"I'd better go now. See you later." Niall said, before getting up and leaving.

I sighed loudly. "It'll be okay." Caris reassured.

"I hope so."

"I know what'll cheer you up. Movies and lots of food." Caris said, grabbing my hand and pulling me of my seat. "Caitlyn do you want to join us?"

"Yeah, thanks." She replied.

"Thanks for the invitation." Harry said, sarcastically.

"It's girls only." Caris smirked.

"I'm a girl. Can I come?" Louis asked.

"I always knew there was something weird about you, Lou." I giggled.

"Well know you know."

"Come on back to our house." Caris said.

"I bring food." Caris chimed, placing popcorn, chocolate cookies, cupcakes, three tubs of chocolate ice-cream, three spoons, assorted crisps and chocolate on the table.

"What movie?" I inquired.

"Titanic." Caris suggested.

"We'll need a lot of tissues." Caitlyn stated.

"Got some." I replied, holding up a box of tissues.

Caris inserted the DVD and the movie began to play. I was fine until the ship hit the iceberg and the tears started to fill my eyes. The scene that I found one of the saddest was when the woman kisses her two children goodnight, as if nothing is happening because they were locked in their room. That scene got me every time I watched the movie. I wished Niall was there. If he was I would have buried my face into his warm chest and cried and he would have comforted me with those big strong arms wrapped around me.

Caitlyn put her arm around me and I smiled at her. She smiled back. We all cried all the way to the end of the movie. "What movie now?" Caris asked, wiping away a tear.

"Bridge to Terabithia?" I suggested. 

"What age are you?" Caris laughed.

"Eighteen, what's your point?"

"Fine, we'll watch it."

"It's a sad film!" I exclaimed.

I put the DVD in and the movie began to play. I enjoyed the movie until the little girl died. It made me cry every time. I cried all the way through the rest of the movie.

"I told you it was sad." I said, wiping my eyes with a tissue.

"I agree." Caitlyn replied, nodding.

"It's sad the wee girl dies." Caris said.

"I'm going to have some ice-cream now to cheer me up." I decided, picking up an ice-cream tub and a spoon.

"You do that." Caris chuckled.

"I'll phone Haz and tell him we're having a girly night." Caris said, taking her phone out and walking out the room.

"It's so nice of you to let me stay at your house." Caitlyn said to me smiling.

"Anytime, you're part of the 1D family now." I chuckled.

"Haha."

"Rach, cold you invite Eleanor over too?" Caris asked, walking back into the room.

"She's going back up to Manchester as we speak." I told her.

"Aw, okay." Caris replied, going back out the room.

My phone began to buzz."Hey babe." I said answering the phone.

"Hello beautiful." Niall replied.

"Who was your date?" I asked, it felt weird to be asking him that. 

"Well, I told her that I need a lot of time to get my head round it all and that I'll not be looking for another girl for a very long time."

"So what did she say?"

"She said that she completely understands and that is she needs anyone to talk that she's here for me."

"Well at least she's nice to some people." I joked.

"Haha, I miss you."

"I miss you too."

I heard Caris and Caitlyn 'Awwww'. "What'd you get up to today?" Niall asked.

"Watched Titanic and Bridge to Terabithia and ate lots of food."

"Aww, there was food? Did you cry?"

"I did cry, yes."

"I wish I had been there so I could have cuddled you." Niall said, softly.

"I wish you had too."

"I'll be there soon enough, babe."

"I know, but I'll miss you until then." I sighed.

"I'll miss you too. I have to go now. Liam's made dinner. Bye. love you."

"Bye, love you too." I said, before hanging up.

NIALL'S P.O.V

"Bye, love you too." Rachel said, before hanging up the phone.

I sighed. "You okay?" Zayn asked.

I didn't even know he was there. "No not really." I replied.

"Come 'ere." Zayn said, pulling me into a hug.

"Thanks."

"You're welcome. She really loves you mate."

"I love her too."

"So what are you going to do about it?" Zayn inquired.

"What do you mean?"

"She loves you, you lover her. What are you going to do about it?"

"Are you saying I should marry her or something?" 

Zayn shrugged before leaving the room. I sat there thinking about what he just said. Should I marry Rachel?
