The first meeting

Taehyung is a college senior, and today, he felt awfully sick. He was at home all day and gave himself pills yesterday, hoping it would all be fine but it turns out it's only getting worse than before. Thank God it was the weekend because if he happened to miss a day in school, he would miss out on studies that were very important, especially for a college senior like him.

He lived alone and couldn't rely on his medical skills. And, as his instincts hit him, the next thing he knew, he was headed towards the hospital. The only thing on his mind now was to get better in order to be able to study as soon as possible.

   -Taehyungs POV-

I really, really really hated being sick. I was at one of those times where you would just lay down, waiting for your mom to cover you in your bed while waiting for the magic to happen.

That is, to get better, of course. But my situation was different. Worse.

I could see my eyes flutter in front of me, I needed a rest as much as I needed to study for the upcoming finals. But who in hell could learn when all they think about is getting better, and not having to breathe through your mouth all the time.

Ugh, I can't think of anything straightly, the road in front of me is blurry, but who cares. All I need to do is get to the doctor and get a prescription on what meds to buy and what I would have to do, right?

Oh, I see it. The tall building was a couple of meters away from me and I'm about to be saved. I speed up my pace as I cough a few times while holding my arm in front of my mouth, keeping it from not spreading anywhere else I guess.

I stepped inside as I felt a rush of puke go trough my stomach, causing me to slightly groan out loud.

I looked around me. It was a nice filled inside with a bunch of chairs here and there. Just what I needed while I would wait for my turn. After I checked myself in for a check-up, I sat down and waited for my turn.

Great. Just great. Now I had to wait a hella long time before I could get home. I should've brought my books with me. I could've at least read them a couple of times and it would have to find a place in my memory, waiting for the time to be used on the finals, then being erased afterward.

But, even so, I couldn't have concentrated even if I had brought my study books.

You might think I'm overreacting. And I am. But. It was just the way I was. I couldn't change anything about it.

'I really need a break.' This was the first time this thought went through my mind. Of course, I knew it even before, but this time I wasn't thinking about the one in summer that everyone had. I thought about how it would be great if time would just stop.

Like, right now! Everything would calm down and so would my fever.
I could just close my eyes and...
"Next! Kim Taehyung!" My thoughts were stopped by the nurse that was practically screeching in a un seductive voice witch fled through the hallway making everyone look at who was to enter next.

I blinked twice, adjusting myself to reality before I got up and started to walk towards the room the nurse came out of.

Damn, I was nervous. This much attention towards me wasn't necessary. I hated it.

As I approached the room, I slowly fidgeted the doorknob, causing it to open as I was pushing against it.

Then I turned around as I entered the room, closing the door that was dividing me from the hallway.

I didn't dare to turn my face up or any other direction when I closed the door. I just stood there and let my eyes go around the room, not lifting my sight more than I thought it should.

I thought there was going to be a quirky old nurse that would yell at me like the one that happened to call out my name while I was waiting in the hallway.
