Smile. Have you ever noticed how puppies make human friends? Yet all they do is wag their tail and fall over.

What do these puppies do? Puppies don't smile! They make people smile. When a dog wags its tail and keeps playing with you, all you do is smile and hug them and keep playing with them too. That smile makes you love them. That is actually why we do not love those gruffly big dogs. They do not do anything but sleep and growl. They do not make us smile; they make us frown. 

I will give you an example. There is this boy in our class who loves to make others laugh. He keeps laughing in a funny way and moves his shoulders in an uncontrollable way which makes others laugh too. This is why everyone- not just the class, but the whole school- loves him. Because he makes others happy. He makes others smile by just being himself. Not all people are funny, but if you smile once to a person, he will smile back. He will be happy. A felt bond will grow between you too. 

I read a story once where a lady decided to smile as much as much as possible to ther people. She noticed that the cashier lady was looking disappointed and reluctant. She went to buy something and when she was paying the money to the cashier lady, she smiled and thanked her. Enthusiasm and happiness rushed over the lady's face while she said, "You know, every one just thanks me, but you are the first person to smile to me." See that? A smile made a special bond between them.

It may feel awkward at the begining, smiling at strangers but you will get the hand of it. Just Smile
