13. Chocolate!!!

Yay, first chocolate lesson! Woo.

You were so excited for the first lesson that you arrived at the lesson area 30 minutes earlier.

Now I can choose where I want to seat! You thought and you chose the last few desks. It seems that the each table , there will be a pair. So you wondered who your partner will be for the next few lessons .

You waited anxiously. You scanned the ought he whole area. Your table has all the ingredients and the equipment needed like the rest of the tables.

Then soon the whole area has filled up. You don't have a partner yet...
" Alright. do we have all 70 here yet?" The teacher asked.

"no, miss Mika , we are short of two-" the assistant cooker said but then two figures appear at the door.

You shot up to see who it was. They seem familiar.

Shucks .... Hailey and Koriko... They even sign up for this?!?

"Ahh , the two of you. came in the nick of time, please seat whatever vacancy there are left," miss mika said.
It seems they won't be working together. One of them has to seat with you. Who was it?

Koriko partnered with you because she thinks you are nice when you first met her. "Hey, we meet again!" She said , smiling at you.

"Ahh, we will be doing this together right?"

"Yep, let's make it the best chocolate ever!" She exclaimed.

"Alright, now we have all 70! I am miss Mika , nice to meet you all. I will be teaching you the basics of making chocolate. And this is our cooking team," she presents to the ten ladies beside her," they will be helping and guiding you if you need any help!"

Arghh this is difficult. You couldn't get the measurements right because of some parallex error. But you didn't give up. you wanted to make the best chocolate that Akashi will ever taste .
"Need help?" The lady asked politely .

"Ummmm yeah."

You were scrutinizing every detail of the measurement, not waning another failure. The lady helped you with the measurements.

"Oh I see , thank you."

"You need help,(f/n)?" Koriko asked," it's ok, I got some experience so I can help you."

"Thanks Koriko ."

"No problem"

The chocolate didn't turn out really great but at least you both tried your best.

"It's ok, (f/n), we can try again for the next few lessons before the competition! It's also great working with you too!"

"Yeah , sure, it's nice working with you too."

For some odd reasons, Hailey chose to partner with you.

"Why did you even want to partner me?" You asked.

"Because I wouldn't want to seat with that fat lady where Koriko will be partnering."

"Wow, you hate fat people?*cough cough*"you sacarstically said .

"Shuddup. Let's work ....together," you can see the much hesitation on her face to say the word 'together ' .
"Ok..."

Arghhh this is difficult. The whole area of your kitchen is more like decorated weigh chocolate syrup. You tried to work with Hailey and her blah blah theory and measurements but which made you don't even understand a bullshit of it . As a result, it turned out like this.

"It's your fault for not listening to me," she snapped at you.

You looked down ," it ain't , we will try again." There's no point arguing with her since it will only get worst.

Then one of the lady for assistance approached, "need help?"

"Yeah..." you replied.

The lady then corrected all the mistakes the both of you had.

Hailey was seriously embarrassed when the lady said theories won't work.

It didn't turn out great but both of you tried your best.

"Oh well, next time then," you said .

"I will make sure the next time will DEFINITELY work," she said .

"I am very sure we won't get to be partnered up for the competition," you stated with assurance.(continue reading)

You research and researched on how to make even better chocolates and while searching, you chanced upon a very beautiful and special chocolate. you smiled to yourself . you are totally gonna make this chocolate during the competition and for Akashi .

The second and third lessons went pretty well. Mainly because Koriko helped you multiple of times . during that third lesson, you asked her," hey koriko, you aren't angry not partnering up with Hailey ?"

"We wanted to , but we were late since the first lesson. But I don't mind partnering with you."

"hmm I see, it's also great partnering with you."

The chocolate you and Koriko made during the third lesson was much better than the first two.

Ironically, The second and third lessons went pretty well.

The lady kept correcting you and Hailey's mistake.

"This ones gonna turn out the best!" Hailey said during the third lesson.

"Yeah, sure. Before the competition. "

" we won't work together again ."

"You aren't angry not partnering with Koriko ?"

"I ... reluctantly partnered you. it seemed that that day we were late and I didn't want to seat next to that fat girl."

The chocolate you and Hailey made was much better than the first two lessons.
