Ruby's POV

I walked them downstairs and to where Andre was resting, I sat next to his bed. He shifted around in his sleep, then he opened his eyes and weakly smiled at me.

"Knew I could count on you" he said tired and in a raspy voice, I smiled at him "glad your okay". He laughed weakly "ya me too, didn't know they had it in em".

He glanced over and saw Sapphire and Garnet. "This your family" I noded, I waved them over. Sapphire pulled Garnet close and approched with caution.

He laughed at that "I won't bite" they walked over "are you my mama's friend" he looked at me. "I'd hope so" he says and I smiled at him.

"Ya we're friends", they questioned him for about an hour before leaving.

I turned to Andre "so, what happened to you anyway" he chuckled softly "was disarming those traps I told you about, but my brother and sister caught me, kicked my ass real good".

I smiled "well thanks for getting your ass kicked saving us" he noded "any time kid". I rolled my eyes "I'm not a kid" he smiled "your a kid to me, kiddo".

I softly laughed again "ya whatever Gramps" he looked at me "why do I gotta be Gramps" he said acting offended.

"If I'm kid, your Gramps" he sat a moment "fair enough", we laughed "get some rest Gramps, you'll need it". He smiled at me and I smiled back, I pulled the blanket over him and left.

I went upstairs to where Sapphy and Garnet where, i sat across from them still thinking they where mad at me.

Was what I did REALLY that bad, I looked up at them and Sapphy had her arms crossed and Garnet had left.

I looked down slightly, they're really mad at me. I mean I'm still not sure why she was mad, I do this LITERALLY ALL THE TIME.

Sapphire's POV

I looked at Ruby as she sat down and started to twitle her fingers, I could sense her confusion and sadness.

I tapped Garnet and pointed to the stairs, she got up and left the room.

I turned to Ruby and my gaze softened "Ruby...." she looked up but her gaze didn't meet mine. I felt bad "Ruby, I'm sorry" she looked up.

"It's fine Sapphire, it was my fault anyway I ran off" she sat up completely. I smiled "no Ruby I over reacted, your aloud to do things I was just worried".

Ruby smiled "so your not mad" I shook my head "Me and Garnet weren't mad, just worried". She walked over and gave me a kiss, "let's go get Garnet".

We walked up stairs with Ruby infront, she froze for a second then ran to Garnet's room and ripped the door off.

I was gonna tell at her about it but when I got there, there was a man who was holding Garnet with a gun to her head.

Ruby growled and I glared, Garnet was squirming around "keep moving kid, and you'll get a new red on your carpet".

He turned to us "the meeting has been moved to next month, you show alone and you'll get your kid, you show with a group and you'll watch us take your kids life".

Garnet was crying at this point and it broke my heart, Ruby was ready to charge at the man. I grabbed her arm "no one harm will come to her" I looked at the guy.

"No harm" I noded "Garnet we'll come for you always, okay" I saw her nod "I love you Mom and mama".
