It's almost Christmas!

So, I wrapped a present for my mom. She was shocked that I used my own money to buy it and insisted I don't have to. But I wanted to. And I wrapped it all by myself!

And I wrapped it all by myself!

I'm actually pretty proud of it! The peacock ribbon is a little loose but it's as tight as I could get it, so

I'm actually pretty proud of it! The peacock ribbon is a little loose but it's as tight as I could get it, so....it's okay I guess.

Want to know what I got her?

(If you're my sister, Fuck off beyond this point, I'm talking about your gifts too.)

It's a DNA ornament, or just a decoration I guess. You know, the double helix? Yeah, it's silver and has a black ribbon on the top so you can hang it somewhere. She'll love it, I'm sure of it. She loves DNA and anatomical hearts and nurse stuff. She always has.

I'm proud of myself for doing this. Originally, I saw it and knew I had to get it. At first I thought it was for myself, then I realized "what? No. There's no way this is for me. This is mom's, no doubt" so now I have a gift for my mom and I just wrapped it. I'm buying presents for everyone else ( I hope) tomorrow at the farmers market. I love buying presents for others and then wrapping them.

This year my mom has had trouble buying something for her boyfriend and my sister. My sister has started her emo phase (she's ten, ten guys) and insists on everything being black or purple, sometimes red or white. She loves hoodies and sweaters and bnha, so she insists she needs a Shinsou hoodie. Surprise, surprise, we can't find one. And she wants a wolf hoodie, we look and there's hundreds, it was so hard to pick one. And she wanted nothing else. Nothing. Else. AND WE DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE SHE COULD POSSIBLY BE INTERESTED IN! It's frustrating and it's five days until Christmas! Less than a week!

And I want to buy Something for Dave (my mom's boyfriend) but he's so hard to shop for! The only thing I can think of are sloths and dice! But both of those things have already been bought so I don't know! And my grandma just...she wasn't decisive this year, she didn't really want anything and just said "buy me something I like" and I'm like "you like the broncos. You like crosses. You like wine glasses. And you like pottery. BUT YOU HAVE NO ROOM FOR ANYMORE OF THOSE THINGS!" So I'm screwed.

Other than that I'm excited. Bye, have a nice day!
