Present Time...

Author's P.O.V

I was so indulged in Hoseok's story that I didn't notice Tae was almost leaning onto my shoulder. What scared me the most was the sight of my phone laying just in front of him. One notification & he sees his picture as my lock screen wallpaper. I immediately shifted a bit taking the phone & shoving it in my jean's pocket. But I remembered that I needed to confirm something. I took out my phone & saw him peaking at it already. This boy!

I cleared my throat causing him to shift away from me. He looked at Hoseok & I took this chance to unlock my phone. I searched for that particular picture in the gallery. I was sent that picture a long time ago & doubted if it was in my phone. On finally finding it, I looked at Hoseok & Tae shooting glares at me.

"What?", I asked them.

"Can you please put your phone aside..?", Tae asked in a demanding tone.

"And listen to me? Let me continue now..", Hoseok parted his lips to speak again.

"Wait... First listen to me.", I gave Hoseok my phone.

"Is this Namjoon.... the Namjoon you are talking about?", I asked & Hoseok looked at me with wide eyes.

"Yes.. It's him but how do you know him?", he asked me scrutinizing the pic.

"That's the story for another day.", I sighed thinking about them.

Taehyung's P.O.V

She looked dejected and it bothered me very much.

"Do you like him?", I unconsciously blurted out.

Her eyes quirked disbelievingly. Did I ask something very wrong? Then I looked at Hoseok who rolled eyes on me.

"No I don't & can no way like him.", I immediately relaxed at her words.

"Sam spill it already. How do you know Namjoon?", Hoseok was impatient & he kept on tapping his feet.

"Audrey...& me.... used to be very close friends.", I could sense something was off by the way the words left her mouth.

"When I moved from this place, I had a hard time making friends. You know it very well Hoseok, that's just the way I am. I worked part times to support myself & Rey was a co worker at one of the places I worked. She was very much like you Hobi. Maybe that's why we got along so well.", she spoke looking out through the glass window.

"Say it again.", I looked at Hoseok, who was now smiling widely.

"Huh? Which part?", Sam asked him.

"Call me Hobi, again. You didn't even realize how disturbing it was to hear you call me Hoseok from the moment we met.", Hoseok said pinching her cheeks.

"Really? I'm sorry Hobi. Maybe meeting you after six years has it on me.", she said ruffling his hair. I've always admired their friendship. So genuine, so pure. I never wanted to replace Hobi, I can no way, all I want is to be close to her, so she can share everything with me & be a little less awkward when I'm around.

"After Rey shifted here, she got admission in a university, I guess, the same as your's. We had long phone calls everyday spent on detailing how our day went. So one day she told me about this guy Namjoon. If I'm not wrong, Namjoon had helped her with some project & they coincidentally met here & there. She fell in love with him. I had never seen her this happy before. The way she talked about him...it melted my heart. I could totally relate as I also have an unrequited lo-", her eyes widened & she stared at me for a moment.
