You trudged into your last class, yearning for the day to end. There's a big window right by your seat that you love to look out of. That's the only reason you sort of like this class.
You freeze when you see a farmiliar face right next to your seat.
"Hey y/n! I got kicked from a class for being too loud so now I'm here, conveniently sitting next to your seat!" Stephen smiles, adding bitter edge to his voice when he mocked his formal teacher.
"How do you know this is my seat?" You question, setting your stuff down.
"Lucky guess." Stephen replied, shrugging. You shot him an uncertain glare.
"I don't believe you."
"Yeah, i know you don't. I was just over here looking for a seat and when you walked in you looked like you were dying to get to that chair." Stephen explained. "Am I done being interrogated now?"
"For now, yes." You giggle, taking a seat. Stephen turns to the front as the teacher starts explaining the work. You turn to the window at last, ignoring everything around you as dread clouds your face. You curse under your breath.
"What's got you so irritated?" You hear Stephen Whisper from your right. You turn to him.
"I have to walk home and it's raining." You mutter back. Stephen tries not to laugh.
"Me too, but even I was smart enough to check the weather and bring an umbrella." He banters.
"Okay Mr. I'mbetterthanyou, how about you walk me home then?" You challenge bravely. Inside though, you're dying of embarrassment.
"Challenge accepted." He murmurs, turning back to the front of the room. You feel your face get slightly pink.
Guess I'm walking home with this goofy narcissistic asshole, but I'm not complaining. He's fun to be around.
